SUMMARY OF SKILLS
I have a very interesting background that includes software training and website designing. I began as a Trainer specializing in Web Design and in 2001 I started my own company part time creating websites. In 2007 I stepped out full time as a contract designer and Software Trainer.
I feel my background as an instructor has given me an advantage when it comes to interacting with clients because as an educator I naturally translate complex technical concepts to layman's terms and this works great for clients who don't necessarily want to be an expert in the technology, but they do want to understand what they are purchasing.
I have primarily focused on bringing small to mid sized companies, churches and individuals to the Web. Helping them with everything from the initially mind mapping their vision, helping them plan within their budget and ultimately bringing the entire enterprise to fruition. At the end of the day it is exciting to take someone who never dreamed they could be on the internet to the point where they may have a fully functional Ecommerce site and have them doing business in places they have never heard of. I feel that the World Wide Web is the great equalizer.
