Accenture Services Pvt Ltd :

I have joined Best Buy(Client) as for an ETL Project Tax Data Retention (TDR) for Best Buy Finance, which has multiple data sources like Ciris, Sabrix, Vertex. Tools used for this project are Informatica, Teradata & Business Objects.

AOPO:Aligned Operational Performance Objectives:

This project is about the generating a detailed Profit & Loss A/c w.r.t Budgets/Forecasts/Actuals report in BOBJ which has almost 2000 objects and to be viewed by Best Buy's Finance Decision makers. The entire report has data at Monthly, Quarter & Yearly levels, with Date, Channel, Operating Group etc as Filters. Also there are several filters defined to restrict the report run time. Tools used for this project are Teradat Data, Business Objects, TVA Cycle Results.

After getting the business requirements from Onsite visit for 3months, we have developed the biggest report for Best Buy in a duration of 21days and successfully delivered.
BBYM: Best Buy Mobile:- A short term project to populate the base tables in EDW for a a new product launched by Best Buy. Tools used Informatica & Terdata Data-BTEQ, Maestro & Wrapper Scripts.
Overall Project Management: Co-ordinating with business people for regular Business requirement clarifications, Estimating Resources required/man hours to execute the above projects along with preparing weekly/daily status reports.

Essbase Cube: This is one of the critical projects of Best Buy Finance,which extracts data from Warehouse and sends the extracts to Business in a Structured format thru SFTP. Tools used are BTEQ, TPT, Wrapper Scripts, SFTP & Maestro.
With an intelligent Batch Job Architecture starts extracting data after regularly monitoring the updation of Finance related database tables executes the Batch. The entire Batch process is scheduled for four times in a day which executes automatically at intervals. Once data is extracted, there is a DQA Check BTEQ which performs the data quality fixes and thereby loading into Staging Table. After loading into a Stage Table, TPT extracts data in a Transpose format as per the business requirement, the extract file transferred to the Business Location by SFTP to a windows folder from Unix Box. After successfull transmission of the extracts, the next batch job renames the existing file with a date for archiving.
