As a C/C++ developer I support and develop game distribution system. I improved the application through refactoring and deep integration with online services.
I ported bits of server-side application written in C to Java. The task was not to damage but to increase performance of the code.
2007 -- 2009 Software Developer, OOO “Apollo Project” (secondary job) http://tucity.mobi
I was a J2EE-developer of a Tucity project.
I implemented several important features basing on a fuzzy feature descriptions. Such as rating system, MMS-support. I was the only developer of the SMS connections system (SMPP, HTTP) -- 24x7 service.
2006 -- 2007 IT-Manager, i-Free, “Jamango” project http://www.jamango.com
“Jamango” is a J2EE-based community service for the mobile communication. It is the mobile community service #1 in Russia.
When I joined the project it suffered from constant failures, errors, bad-designed disorganized features. After one year of work, Jamango became a 24x7 available service, deeply integrated with other company services as well as with third-party online services. Community services were integrated into main i-Free site and into Samsung Fun Club site.
I managed a team of 4 J2EE developers and a designer.
2003 -- 2006 Software Developer, OOO "CTM" http://www.ctm.ru
I took part in global refactoring of specialized “Shipping Documents” form processor. I wrote an application for calculation of supplementary charges for the railroad transportation and a Software Installation system for WinMobile.
Additional experience:
I wrote an experiment supporting system with J2SE for the University I graduated for the video information processing.The system is still in use in the University.
I am an author of the Scilab Russian localisation (http://scilab.org). I've also posted several bug fixes for the J2SE-based Scilab GUI.
