Project Description:

E-library is webtop based application which is a secured, controlled and
provides the means to create, store and retrieve information to support Ford
business requirements. Thousands of documents can be accessed through the
web browser and browse the current range of business topics on the Bookshelf
The E-Library provides real-time access to current information. It moves
documents electronically through review and approval chains .It provides
automated notification to users. It has fast search capabilities,with full-text
indexing and use of key words for rapid retrieval .While the majority of the
content in e-Library is not business critical, there are times when it may
become highly critical. For example, E-Library handles dealer communications,
and some such communications may be deemed critical if the communication is
regarding a "hot topic".

Role : Developer & Team Size 4+1
Responsibilities:

* Ability to resolve ACL, workflow type of issues.

* Administrative tasks to be done like maintaining Users and Groups,
monitoring Jobs and methods etc.

* Customization of webtop by developing custom components and

Project Description:

GARMS and GPLUS are J2EE applications which incorporate Documentum features.
GARMS is Ford's global system that allows one to share and search for records
across repositories.

The GPLUS application is used for creating and approving PDLs (Product
Direction Letters), as well as for accessing approved PDLs. Users can set their
filters to be notified of all approved PDLs or some of them. Users can search
for PDLS based on the selected criteria.GPLUS manages and administers PDL
review and approval workflows.

Responsibilities:

located in the GMR Knowledge Management System. The GMR Knowledge
Management System has been designed for easy navigation and access to
Studies and Research Reports.
The system has an easy to use interface and the report database is fully
searchable.
