* Worked on the annual SOX audit compliant requests from business. Tuned up programs/Jobs for both Australia and UK market within AMEX. Used Easytreive/JCL/VSAM/IBM Utilities to scan the Vision-plus databases and provide statistics for business side.
* Developed account migration modules for the German market, due to legal compliance reasons. (Some Card Members have a revolving zero balance and should be migrated to another sub-product) Following the SPEC, designed the migration steps, using COBOL/CICS/VSAM/JCL/Vision-plus etc. Tested using Xpeditor/AbendAid, wrote Test Cases and delivered the code in good quality
* Coded programs/JCLs for Mexican market to refund annual fee according to a list provided by business. Very urgent requirement - Wrote Easytrieve programs to scan the VSAM database (account DB, card DB, customer DB etc.) to create a batch financial transaction file to be fed into batch process. Very complicated logics when scanning the databases, especially to RANDOM read the KSDS VSAM file as the existing files are too big to be scanned due to the account history volume. Also provided necessary reporting/memo for business to notify the card members. Used Easytrieve/COBOL/JCL/VSAM/File-Aid etc. Implemented in Production within schedule
* Wrote program/JCLs for Australian market to refund incorrectly charged annual fee, similar to above Mexican refund, however without a specified list. Used the extraction criteria provided by business to create the transaction file to be fed into batch. Easytreive/COBOL/JCL/VSAM etc.
* Modified existing Vision-plus code (COBOL/VSAM) to waive deferred interest for all markets. Simple code change and complicated testing. Provided help to BA/QA in System Testing afterwards.
* Programmed Online interface modules for Malaysia? customer information retrieval system interface from our side. To provide essential customer data to the Asian market due to marketing reasons. Used COBOL/CICS/VSAM/Vision-plus code, Tested with Xpeditor/AbendAid. Wrote Test Cases and updated the related Functional SPEC to keep documents up-to-date
