Principal Services Engineer 2005 -- 2009
Responsible as Principal Technical Member of a Top 10 account services project developing a Process Design Kit methodology. Methodology currently supports over 2500 customer designers and layout employees throughout the world.
Accomplishments:
• Supported 45 and 65 nm process nodes to include the development of multiple voltage checking capability, process migration tools, highly automated QA procedures and flows, capability for simulation backannotation to schematics for multiple simulators, and advanced pcell templates in both Sun and Linux platforms.
• Pcells developed included differential varactors, mos capacitors, inductors, standard and trim resistors, drain extended mos, mos with integrated well substrate ties, stretch handles and abutment triggers.
• Generated over 80,000 lines of code to implement Cadence environment customization, process flow toolboxes, and applications and utilities applied by end users.

Lead Services Engineer 1997 -- 2005
Participated in the architecting and generation of a fully automated PDK development flow for a Top 10 account services project. Played key role in renewal of $120M FAM deal with same key account customer.
Accomplishments:
• Co-wrote extensive and detailed customer documentation to include User Guide, Developers Guide, Migration Guide and CAD Guide.
• Developed additional functionality which included programs to automatically generate arbitrary shape user defined layout guardrings, resistors, capacitors and coaxial signal routes.
• Responsible for key role in the migration process by generating an automated environment to migrate PDK's from one Cadence release to the next.

Senior Consulting Engineer 1994 -- 1997
Developed custom flow to automatically generate Frame documentation files based on any given Cadence database hierarchy, to include detailed database information and graphical representation of all cells throughout the hierarchy. Delivered, as a Cadence Certified Instructor, on-site custom and standard classes on SKILL Language Programming, SKILL Development of Parameterized Cells, Virtuoso Layout Editor, and Design Framework II.

Consulting Engineer 1990 -- 1994
Developed custom programs for various Cadence customers in a number of programming languages to include Simple-L translator to perform layout bidirectional transfer between Mentor and Cadence, and SKILL programs to perform corner analysis, calculate metal crossover on layouts using a scanline algorithm, and automatically generate schematic symbols complying with IEEE and military standards. Provided on-site service support for various key account customers.

As Counter Intelligence officer in the 260th MI Battalion, Miami, FL, developed lesson plans and delivered all Spanish language training to soldiers in preparation for interpreter missions.
