- The whole purpose of the eSumitit system is to allow the customer's users and clients the ability to purchase product stored in either St. Joseph's warehouse, or in other customer based warehousing. It also has modules available to allow online custom print jobs to be created, as well as many other online requests. The customers using this system range from Red Cross Canada, Canadian Heritage, Canadian Council for Tobacco Control, and many more.

- Add in the client based uploading and resizing of store front product images using a PHP interface via the GD library.

- Upgrade Rogers VPN user management system (UMS).

- Upgraded all Coldfusion, DHTML, and CSS code to enable full multi-browser support while leveling the whole sites look and feel.

- The VPN system is one of the products that Sprint Canada was offering, and is now a Rogers offering due to the merger. This system was using Coldfusion 4.x, and is now upgraded to Coldfusion MX 6.1. The database engine has also been upgraded from Sybase 11.9.2 to Sybase 12.5.3. Both systems are running under Solaris 9.

- The whole purpose of the UMS is to allow the customer the ability to manage their own users, for their segment(s) of the VPN network. The data is then used by an LDAP Bridge to make adjustments to the LDAP database automatically. Users are then authenticated by LDAP when connecting via VPN.

- Normalize all data structures, query/stored procedure optimization, and recommend appropriate database engine optimizations and tuning.

- Evaluate the effort required to either fix the existing system, or replace the system entirely. It was determined that a complete re-write would be the best option for the end customer. The original system was built by an intern, and very fractured. This meant that one fix could cause other undesirable results that might not show up for months. Because Buchanan Associates has the staff in Dallas, and the security clearance requirements of the end customer, it was determined that they will do the re-write without my assistance. This is all built around Coldfusion, LDAP, and Oracle.

- Network engineer/developer building Network Management applications and infrastructure support to manage the (AGNS) AT&T Global Network (Canadian geography). This network is built on AIX systems, Solaris systems, Windows 2000/2003 systems, LDAP, DNS, Tivoli, CISCO routers, IBM routers, and Nortel's Frame Relay & ATM switches.

- Gather and compile all user requirements to ensure that all content and sub-systems accommodated the intended audience.

- Built the shell scripts and configuration databases used to run the AIX based DNMS NMS and SNMPREC applications. The database application uses Windows 2003, Visual Basic 6 and DB2 UDB 7.2 using ODBC.

- Engineered the EDI bridge between Bell Nexxia and AT&T using Windows 2003 and Visual Basic 6. This bridge transferred live data from SQL Server 2000 (Bell) and DB2 UDB 7.2 (AT&T) using ODBC.

- Developed all Perl & shell scripts used to FTP the rawdata and configuration files to the GDG on the mainframe for processing by the SLR MVS application. This data was then analyzed to provide an accurate status of any of the ~1500 frame relay connected routers on either the commercial side or OPENNET side of the network.

- Implemented Nortel's X-CEL NMS for the Nortel Passport frame relay switches.

- Developed all Coldfusion/XML/Javascript/Java applications to support the network, management, and support staff.

- Built the automation to supply the International NPR Global Frame Relay web site with all client data so that the customers would be able to get a 'Global' view of their entire network, world wide.

- Develop and implement all security requirements working with the network security team.

- Hardening of the platform to prevent breeches of security while conforming to corporate standards.
