I was engaged in the following projects as Lead Developer and Product Manager. Assumed range of responsibilities promoting and advancing products locally as well as in Georgia, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan. I held product presentations in France, UAE and Turkey.

Zigzag Photo -- www.zigzag.kz (online photo hosting and printing service). Apr'08 -- Jul'09.
Developed server-side software modules and client-side user interface components deployed entirely in Compute Cloud of Amazon Web Services (AWS). Worked with Java libraries to access AWS facilities as Simple Storage Service (S3), Simple Queue Service (SQS) and SimpleDB.

Miracle -- Integrated Airline Ticket, MCO, PTA Printing Solution Jun'03 -- Jul'09
More than 700 deployments in CIS market (Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan)
Prior to Miracle travel agencies in Central Asia were issuing airline documents manually.
Designed core idea of this product, studied Amadeus and IATA booking and ticket issuance rules, led requirements elicitation phase, performed preliminary budgeting, defined initial application architecture, programmed all base software components, prototyped and implemented GUI and individual controls in JFC, composed user manual, realized deployment strategy by means of Java Web Start, initiated helpdesk processes, performed on-site trainings for travel agencies. In subsequent version integrated with central accounting database by developing an Accounting Network Bridge. Presently continue to coordinate product deployments and develop all new product features myself.

E-Mood - Internet Booking Engine for Flights, Hotels, Cars Jan'04 -- Jul'09
Internet booking engine also provides weather information, flight schedule and itinerary status reports. Presently, E-Mood is the only IBE used by travel agencies in Central Asia. Among E-Mood clients are two national carriers: Air Astana (KZ) and Georgian Airlines. Analyzed market and proposed idea for this product, studied Amadeus and IATA booking rules, led requirements elicitation phase, defined initial application architecture, programmed all base software components, prototyped and implemented web interface, participated in initial deployment, presently continue to coordinate product development and delivery processes performed by a team of two technical staff. E-Mood is developed in Java as a Web Service.

Insurelet - Travel Insurance Distribution System and Reporting Solution Jun'05 -- Jul'09
Insurelet allows Insurance Providers to export their fare calculation rules information into one central database which is then accessed by travel agencies of different CIS regions to issue/print insurance documents and slips. My responsibilities included managing entire project and software development stages as with E-Mood IBE. Implementation technologies include Java Web Services stack, JBoss Application Server, JFC Swing and Web Start. Presently continue to coordinate product development and delivery processes performed by a team of two technical staff.

Flylet -- SMS Notification Service Jan'06 -- Jul'09
This service was proposed for advanced notice of flight status changes. The concept was proposed by me, and I participated in defining initial system architecture, implemented flylet-subscriber module in JSP/Servlets and AJAX using NetBeans IDE. Presently continue to develop new features for subscriber module that interface with Amadeus GDS.


Reportlet -- Reporting Solution for Travel Agencies Mar'04 -- Present
Reportlet offers advanced features for travel agencies to design generate sales reports. The purpose of it is to enable travel agents, account managers and other responsible managers to quickly create and generate daily sales reports. My responsibilities for this project included managing and coordinating software development stages. Reportlet is a pure Java application developed in JFC Swing using NetBeans IDE. Presently continue to coordinate product deployments and conduct trainings for Travel Agencies.

Amadeus CRP -- Client Relations Program Mar'04 -- Mar'06
CRP is designed to automate work processes of four departments of Amadeus CIS Global Distribution Services. Marketing, Finance, Technical and Helpdesk departments have benefited from streamlined data exchange. Later CRP was made available to regional offices in Georgia and Kyrgyzstan.

Interviewed Amadeus staff and formulated requirements, obtained approvals for GUI prototype, implemented first release of application, added instant messaging module for secure inter-departmental communication, composed product overview, performed on-site product presentation and training for Amadeus CIS staff.

JavaAccademy
Conducted JSP/Servlets trainings in English language for students and faculty members of Kazakh-British Technical University. All code examples where demonstrated using NetBeans IDE. Participated in academic seminars.
