Worked as part of a team, and took lead roles in Implementing an Upgrade from JDEdwards World A7.3 (Cumm 11) (RPG) to A9.2 World Financial Software (RPG). Client was enrolled in an Early Adoption Program with the yet to be release Version A9.2 of World Software. This gave a unique opportunity to work with JDE/Oracle in delivering a new product to the Client.

A92 Upgrade, was responsible for all conversion programs. The number of conversion programs written during this project exceeded 60. One of the primary goals of the conversion programs was a redesign of the Business Unit, making it more uniform across all Sony companies with the objective of rolling out Business Unit Security.

Support J.D. Edwards World A7.3(RPG) Financial Systems A73.11 support, Support for A92 upgrade, including to day Finance production support, adhoc reports, query, etc. Am proficient in using Aldon change management software, PDM, SQL embedded RPG and RPGLE, SQL, Query, CL400, CLLE. Am very familiar with SOX and SOD and possess the ability to create excellent technical and functional documents and test scripts.

Project Management Role in Implementing CFORIA Credit Collections Software a JDE World bolt-on and is used to manage customer correspondence with regards to collections, customer statements, bad debt, aging reports, etc. Managed the Windows client application, Citrix, AS400 communications and AS400 portion of this project.

Developed Batch Error Notification Process.

EDI 820 Payments, which interfaced customer deposits into JDE Auto Cash. Additionally. Worked with a Business Analyst in developing several types of document interfaces into Auto Cash such as .csv, EDI, Excel Spread Sheets via IFS directory. Ron applied JDE PTFs and paper fixes to World A73.11.

Developed Auto-Cash Upload Process saving countless hours of Invoice Entry and Validation/Verification. System greatly improved Cash Management.

Lead Application Developer -- Project Lead

Responsible in Lead Role of Vendor Portal Project. Project scope is to provide an Internet Application for use by Tiffany external vendors. The initial project is to allow the vendors to provide engineering information for Integration into JDE / Oracle. Responsibility was to gather various requirements through weekly team meetings, along with individual user contact. In a full life cycle and phased
approach, provided Feasibility, Requirements, and Design Documents through each step of the development process. Interfaces to populate new product information into the Portal were developed. The system is design in a highly configurable fashion allowing the users through “One World” interfaces to control the data propagation process. Further interfaces are provided for the integration of
Bills and Routings back into JDE. This project provided Tiffany with the ability to plan and provide materials to its external resources; the end goal is to ensure the origins and quality of raw materials. The system also provides Tiffany a limited degree of capacity analysis.

The ability to provide application interfaces to the vendor community is very powerful and consequently other departments have scheduled projects of their own i.e. Acquisition Schedules, Purchase Order Confirmations, Vendor Score Cards, Technical References, Quality Assurance, components Receipt Confirmations, and many more.

Responsibilities have grown to providing requirements and direction to as many as ten other developers. It is necessary for me to coordinate the efforts of various groups and technologies i.e. Web developers, One World developers, RPG (World) Developers. The implementation of this project involved interfacing with various groups inside Tiffany including, but not limited to Web Services, Data-Mirror(Data Replication), Database, and Information Security.

Provide daily support, from directing the development efforts, to coordinating other functions such as scheduled server upgrades, software patch application, etc. In addition to project coordination, participate as a developer in “One World” and RPG.

Technical Consultant

Gathered requirements, designed, coded in JDE “OneWorld” and implemented “Work Order Tracking System” enabling Shop Floor managers to track movement of Work Orders from Work Center to Work Center. System provided audit and reporting functionality to the end user. “One World” environment was in co-existence with “World” software. Many processes are invoked via “One World” triggers.

Gathered requirements, designed, coded, and implemented Job Log Inquiry System. System was developed in “One World” along with RPG programs to provide an On-Line inquiry for all nightly batch jobs. Allowed user to retrieve reports as well as job statistics such as completion times.

Involved in the analysis and management of “One World” upgrade from B7322 to B7333 Xe. Identified and coded retro fits for all UBEs and Applications. Modified, enhanced, and developed new UBEs and Applications as needed. Various code enhancement to the Ship Confirmation, work Order Maintenance programs. Developed NER Business Functions for various common routines i.e. retrieving actual costs from receipt master. Worked in a coexistence JDE environment and designed, maintained, and enhanced various Applications. Created Forms, DD elements, Tables, Business Views, UBE, Processing Options, etc. as needed. Made SAR Business Function Updates in “C++”.

• Wrote Tag Entry Interface to JDE Physical Inventory system.
