> Providing complete software computer protection for the SEI including the Pittsburgh, D.C., and Colorado offices and several remote users totaling 900+ PC's and 60+ servers.
* Providing Virus, Adware and Spyware protection for all Windows systems using Symantec AntiVirus
* Tracking system vulnerabilities and installing patches
o For Windows servers using Windows Server Update Services.
o For desktops, laptops and remote systems, using a program I created called All Patches which would install any necessary Microsoft patches which could be run during the login process, remotely in the evenings or run from a DVD ROM.
* Tracking application vulnerabilities and upgrading software. This was done utilizing a program I wrote which could be run remotely in the evening on all desktop PC's or during the login process. It would install, upgrade, or remove any software necessary to keep the PC current with our baseline.
* Created a program called RunAsAdmin which allows a user to install software as an administrator, without having administrator privileges. This allowed the user to be logged in as a standard user, but still install business-related software when necessary.

> Designed and implemented Visual Basic 6 programs to aid both users and IT in their routine tasks.
* Software Updates program (a software distribution tool).
o Allowed users a central point to find and install software packages.
o Prevented software pirating by utilizing special access lists and programs that would limit what software a user could install, and on which systems it could be installed on.

* Software Inventory program which tracks PC software and generates usage reports
