LEAP (Leveraging Enterprise Application For Performance) Feb'06-Present

This project is carried out to store the tax and some non- tax data collected from the customers and to manage the same. The data is collected in three servers named Bolivia, Peru, Sweden and Norway. These four servers act as the source of the data to be validated using different BW processes and to be distributed among the different databases for internal use in the present and future. To collect the data we are using file adapters and to validate the data BW process is being used. The data once collected from the servers are published as RV Messages and later they are converted in to the Active Enterprise Messages through C++ programs. The C++ adapters convert them to the Active Enterprise wire format, and handover the messages to various end systems like, Datawarehouse, FIN (Financial Information Network), ECDB (Enterprise Customer database), Advice, CIMS, FOM and BUDS database.

ELOC(emeraled line of credit):which deals with preapproved line of credit for the customers,
This application deals with different databases like ECDB and RECON. As well as send the data to Jms server depend up on the file type for further application.





Responsibilities:
• Develop the Interfaces using Business Works. Interacted with vendors at onsite for requirements gathering.
• Developing the processes using the Tibco designer.
• Performed a Load Testing process to ensure that the engines withstand peak operating loads.
• Worked with XSD schemas and imported them into BW processes.
• Worked with several BW designer palettes and developed a robust BW engine to perform database operations into multiple databases, like FIN, DW, ECDB, LEAP-2-CIMS, etc.
• Worked with hawk microagents, and created rulebases and deployed them onto machine thru TIBCO Administrator.
• Worked with TIBCO/ JMS server, created JMS queues and worked with JMS palettes.
• Developed a log file monitoring system thru TIBCO/ Hawk-microagents, to detect any processing issues and send alerts to the operation team.
• Performed a thorough unit testing and resolved several data related issues before migration to production.
• Delivered a high data quality and 100% uptime for all production BW engines.

WorkFlow Automation

This project aims at developing different workflow applications of DBS. Involves development of Remittance Express, Structured Trade, Signature Express and Customer Express workflow processes using TIBCO iProcess. A GI front end has been developed as an iProcess client.

Responsibilities:
• Involved in the high level architecture of the project
• Designed and deployed in iProcess Client Browser (Windows).
• Developed a reusable GI framework using custom GI controls.
• Developed various GI forms using axis web services at the backend.
• Designed and Developed GI Components for the Framework.

TAKAFUL NASIONAL, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia Feb'05 -- Jul'05

The project's purpose is to integrate the GTS (General Insurance System) core system with BTS (Bank Assurance System.) into a seamless, paperless, standard and cost effective process, supported by an open integrated system.
• EAI will receive the request from BTS Application through BTS Connector. After doing data validation/transformation, Parse/ Create XML, the message will be published into the EAI BUS.

• In the BUS, the interested application will subscribe to this message. Based on the message, GTS connector invokes the GTS online service, which is on GTS Application Server by sending this message as a request. GTS connector gets the response back from GTS Application Server and the same response is published to the network.

Again the interested application will receive this message from the BUS as a response.
The project gives the information to different application through EAI bus (TIBCO RV) The system holds the data from different systems like ERP, GTS, and BTS etc onto the bus so that different applications can communicate through a single channel. Suppose if in future some other system is required to be developed and it requires the data from takaful for its implementation then that system can pick up the data from this system. Basically this system is for integrating different products of Takaful Nasional (an Insurance Company.) All these functionality are implemented in Tibco BW.

WSPR_Rewrite (workers Statistical Planning Report) Jan'04 -- Nov'04

The WSPR-Rewrite will provide the user with the functionality to view and maintain contract, premium, and loss data for the production of Units, to maintain the status of Unit filings, to manage the work of an individual at the account level, and to maintain assignment data.
WSPR-Rewrite also provides viewing the status of Unit reports and the ability to hold or release Unit reports. WSPR can be accessed through a web browser. Business logic resides in the business layer. It makes the call to CICS or DB2 and gets the data from the Data layer, which returns the response back and forwards the results to the WSPR-Rewrite, which displays these results.

ReportXpert

Shell Soft ReportXpert is a web based reporting application. ReportXpert is a Platform Independent, Thin client solution for reporting needs for any enterprise that enables users to access, analyze and share corporate data using a simple browser as their interface, while maintaining tight security over data access. User can generate reports on data, which he is authorized to manipulate. It can connect to any database across the net on providing the Database IP, User Name and Password using type III or type IV JDBC drivers. Consists of three modules, called 'Report maintenance', 'Administrator', and 'Query builder'. Report maintenance is intended to take care of tasks like customizing the existing reports, converting them into other formats, finding of reports etc. Administrator will take care of tasks like database permissions, user group creation etc and lastly using Query Builder we can generate reports by the help of wizards.

Other features including Report generation in various formats (like Mail-Label reports, Cross-Tab Reports and Form-Letter Reports), exporting the reports in various formats (like CSV, Text, HTML, XML), Mailing the reports to other users on the web as easily as they can publish the data on the Web, and Database level and Table level restrictions to access the database.

Each of the user of this application is provided with an authentication. The user adding a company's profile has the privilege to modify or delete the profile at a later stage while other users can either view or append to the available information and cannot delete the data. The Application also has a supplementary feature to search the database for information about a particular company or companies.
