* Working as a GIS Analyst at Department of Public and Social Services
As a GIS Analyst I have been converting non GIS data into GIS format and producing GIS maps for the department. Currently I am involved in maintaining GIS database for facilities served by the county of Riverside. I use Geomedia, MS Access and MS SQL server to assist me in the process of data conversion from engineering Autocad files to personnel geo database. Within my period of work I have produced numerous thematic maps for the department of Public Social Services.

* Worked as a GIS Consultant in IUCN's Project: “Conservation and Sustainable use of wetlands in Nepal”
* Application of GIS tools for Wetland Management
I worked as a GIS analyst for “Wetlands Management and Sustainable Development” project of IUCN. Data capturing, data analysis and map productions were my chief responsibilities. I produced maps to represent the socio-economic, demographic and environmental status of wetland area and its vicinity.

I developed training material to teach “Use of GIS tools for Environment Management”. Data capture, database maintenance, data analysis and map production to achieve the project objective were the areas I focused on during the training. I taught how to produce the socio-economic, demographic and management maps. I also provided training to perform spatial analysis predicting the damage caused by natural hazards like floods and landslide and how to identify the management measures by studying the degree of vulnerability of watershed area.

* Used ARC GIS tool to maintain, update and develop information attributes and spatial layers for Kathmandu valley and surrounding cities. * Designed & Developed “Hospital Database Management System” by identifying various daily activities and personnel involved in the system.

GIS Web Application
* Currently working on Masters Project to develop GIS Web application for Water Resource Institute at Cal State University, San Bernardino, CA using ArcGIS Server on .Net platform.
* Used Arc GIS 9.2 to create thematic maps to be published on web applications. I authored GIS maps of Santa Ana Watershed area and its vicinity to be used for web applications.
