PROJECTS:
? Title: Improving Gaze Pattern for People with Autism Spectrum Disorder (Under development). Technologies Used: C language using OpenCV library, FFMPEG, OpenGL.
Description: Autism is a brain development disorder characterized by impaired social interaction and communication and by restricted and repetitive behavior. The aim of this project is to improve the gaze pattern of People with Autism Spectrum disorder. In this Project we will be developing a real time system to track the eyes of the user and embed the video uploaded by user on the eyes. To view more details you can look at my webpage where I uploaded two videos for examples and also the project details. My webpage is http://vis.uky.edu/~pperi2/index.htm .
? Title: Perceptive Measurement of Image and Video Inpainting Quality. Technologies Used: MATLAB.
Description: Inpainting is the technique of modifying an image in an undetectable form. The goals and applications of inpainting are numerous like restoration of damaged paintings, removal / replacing some objects in an image. Since there are many Inpainting technologies are there, the aim of the project is to evaluate inpainting quality of all techniques and also to verify the quality of these techniques we conducted some subjective tests.
? Title: Wireless Sensor Node for Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) Technologies Used: Eagle, Flash Utility LPC and GCC compiler Tools. Description: A wireless sensor network (WSN) is a wireless network consisting of spatially distributed autonomous devices using sensors to cooperatively monitor physical or environmental conditions, such as temperature, sound, vibration, pressure, motion or pollutants, at different locations. Building a single transreciever (Node) for sensing data from communicating sensor nodes through wireless communication and includes Design of different schematics for the Wireless circuit nodes using an ARM 32 bit microcontroller. Responsibilities: • Generating different schematics for printed circuit board layout using Eagle software. • Programming the application using edit plus editor, compiling the program. • Embedding code into the micro controller flash memory using flash utility. • Unit testing of Programs and finally kit.
