Project Description:
The VAMS system will provide an online process for capturing vendor information and setting up vendor and trade agreements. It will allow a Meijer team member and a vendor to collaboratively agree to amounts for Payment Terms, Conditions of Sale, Standard Purchase Order Allowances, Inbound Logistics, Advertising dollars, and Marketing dollars. The VAMS will allow this information to be entered into online forms by either a Meijer team member or a vendor. It will then require the agreements to go through an approval process in order to become effective. The agreed upon data will be a legally binding contract that can be viewed online by Meijer team members and vendors.

Project Description:
The objective of this system is to write an “In House” proprietary application for the use of contractor management for Meijer. This system includes both the Contractor Procurement/ Tracking/ PO Administration functionality and the Time Entry system used by Non-IT contractors for timesheet creation. This enables Meijer to pay the vendors based on the time recording done by the contractor resources and not depend on electronic invoices that are submitted by the vendors via the Vendor Net.
