Professional Goals

* To fulfill the criteria and experience needed to be an expert in the area of Network Security.

* To further my experience in the field of computer technology and security, I am pursuing more challenging and rewarding work in the industry of Information Technology.

Current Focus

Security Professional - Performing black/grey box penetration testing for various financial institutions as well as large companies. Included in tests are firewall/IDS/IPS, internal vulnerability, web application security testing and physical security audits. Also performing security research and exploit development for MS Windows and Linux-based operating systems. Side projects include Nortel Interactive Voice Response system development.

Professional Education and Certifications

2009 GPEN - GIAC Certified Penetration Tester

* The GPEN certification is for security personnel whose job duties involve assessing target networks and systems to find security vulnerabilities. Certification objectives include penetration-testing methodologies, the legal issues surrounding penetration testing and how to properly conduct a penetration test as well as best practice technical and non-technical techniques specific to conduct a penetration test. This certification is in harmony with the SANS Security 560 course.


2008 OSCP - Offensive Security Certified Professional

* The OSCP certification provides testament of Penetration Testing skills in a real life environment. As well as expert use in industry recognized security tools such as NMap, Nikto, Nessus, Saint, CORE Impact, based around the Back|Track Linux security distribution.

2007 CEH - Certified Ethical Hacker

* The CEH Program certifies individuals in the specific network security discipline of Ethical Hacking from a vendor-neutral perspective. The Certified Ethical Hacker certification fortifies the application knowledge of security officers, auditors and security professionals. These individuals have the knowledge to perform network penetration tests as well as vulnerability assessments.

2007 CHFI - Certified Hacking Forensic Investigator

* The CHFI Program certifies that the individual has the knowledge needed to perform computer forensic investigations. Computer forensics enables the systematic and careful identification of evidence in computer related crime and abuse cases. This may range from tracing the tracks of a hacker through a client's systems, to tracing the originator of defamatory emails, to recovering signs of fraud.
