Description SIRCON.db is a licensing system for agents and firms. It is a comprehensive, integrated system that provides the ability to enter and track information about individuals and organizations, which are conducting insurance-related activities on behalf of insurance carriers, brokerages and agencies. The system provides the following functionalities:
Maintains the licensing and appointment information of agents/individuals with firms
Receives automated requests from broker dealers for appointment of agents using the DTCC interface
Interacts with a number of Interfaces

Role As a Business Analyst, I was responsible for analysis of new requirements and coordination with the external broker dealers for requirement gathering.

Description Wholesaler Compensation System provides compensation solely for wholesalers based on the production of their assigned agents. In addition, the system provide the following functions:

Automated/manual assignment of appointed agents to external Wholesalers.
Tracking of Wholesalers sales and earnings.
Generate monthly Wholesalers compensation reports to Accounting.
Calculate Wholesalers compensation and Bonus.
Provide various Sales Production Reports via Cognos.
Provide agent assignment to multiple Wholesalers.
Role As a team member, I was solely responsible for the maintenance/enhancement of screens in VB, Writing stored procedure in SQL server 2000.
I also had to monitor the batch jobs running in Production that are related to Wholesaler Compensation System.

Description AXA-DJ intends to implement Claims V3 for replacing its existing claims V2 system. Claims V3 aims at refurbishing and enhancing the existing system based on the business and users requirements. This will enable AXA DJ to meet its new business requirements and to enhance customer service and prevent fraudulent claims. This is also aimed to reduce the paperwork load of AXA DJ by automating some of their tasks, which is being carried out manually in V2.
Role As a team member, I was solely responsible for the preparation of SRS and the design document for the reports module as well as the development of the various reports used in the system using Crystal Reports.

Project EX Re-Engineering
Customer TCS Product positioned for the small and medium scale businesses.
Period JAN-2003 to SEP-2004
Description EX Smart Accounting is a financial accounting package targeting small and medium sized establishments. It provides different types of voucher entry, voucher modification, payment and receipt adjustment, customer and supplier management etc. Various queries and reports based on customer and supplier (like receipts, payments, dues, unadjusted credits, etc), account, ledger etc. can be produced. It also provides utilities for performing Backup -- Restore operations for maintaining the database.
This product is based on client-server architecture (3-tier). It is developed using Object Oriented technologies including VC++ and VB. The data is transferred across layer through XML.

Role As a team member, I was solely responsible for layout of screens in VB, Writing stored procedure in SQL server 7.0, implementing business logic in VC++ for different modules.
I was responsible for enhancement/maintenance of Folder module,Backup Restore Utility for EX Smart Accounting 1.1.
I was also involved in reviewing codes and unit testing.
I also provided support during the acceptance testing.
