This development effort is a web-based system to give online examination & subsequent procurement of certificates. The entire procedure of examination starting from registration, enrollment for a particular exam, procurement of certificates. It has an admin panel that does administrative works like cheque validity, enrollment of a candidate, certification. Also it has another area i.e. user area where registration, login, examination (free/payable) and certification process is done.

BSNL is one of the most renowned telecommunications company in India. TRICON package developing was the part of this project. It was a offer for postpaid customers. Customers who apply for this package through mail, SMS or by calling firstly saved in the primary database server in the head office. Then a copy of those customers mapped with local database server using JAVA. Local database administrator can see those particular data at a regular timestamp trough JSP and also update accordingly as per customer who are interested to take this tariff plan. Following major activities are carried out in this project:
? Developing a page per customer with update facility. ? Connect those JSP with server. ? Support the application from Front End as well as Back End. Responsibilities & Key Areas of working:
• Coordinating with the whole team and with the business. • Developing JSP page as per client requirements. • Designing and developing the package using Java technology. • Documenting new information in regular basis after testing. • Good understanding of business application.

Duration Till Date The Stores Department of Hastings Jute Mill maintains stock of all the items (except raw jute) related to production and daily needs to run the mill properly. This department runs only in the day shift. In case of any emergency requirement store supplies the required material to concerned department in the night. The HR Department of Hastings Jute Mill maintains employee details of all departments. It operates from the Head Office. The system context highlights important characteristics of the system: users, external systems, batch inputs and outputs, and external devices. ? Events that the system generates that affect external entities. ? Data that the system receives from the outside world and that must be processed in some way. ? Data produced by the system and sent to the outside world. The Main functionality of Stores department are as follows - • General Stores Maintenance • Repairing Maintenance • Job work Maintenance
General Stores Maintenance The Processes of stores department can be categorized in the following manner --
1. Requisition by user department to stores. 2. verification of stock 3. Indent generation. 4. P.O. (purchase order) generation. 5. Challan entry at Mill Gate (At the time of delivery) 6. Challan register entry (After receiving items at Stores) 7. Short/Excess maintenance. 8. Intimation to user department for verification. 9. Inspection by user department. 10. Rejection. 11. Store receipt generation. 12. Issue pass generation. 13. Amendment of P.O. (if required) 14. Amendment of S.R. (if required) 15. Bill Maintenance Repair Maintenance Store also manages items which are sent outside for repairing purpose. The Process flow in this case is as follows --
1. Repair Purchase Order 2. Repair challan by mill (sent to party) 3. Receive party challan (sent by party after repairing) 4. Intimation to user department for verification. 5. Inspection by user department. 6. Rejection. 7. Store receipt generation. 8. Issue passes generation. 9. Amendment of S.R. (if required) Job-Work Maintenance Any Mechanical or civil jobs inside Factory are maintained thorough Stores. The processes involved are, 1. Job Order 2. Job Card Maintenance
The Main functionality of HR department are as follows - 1. Recruitment/Regularization/Promotion 2. ESI 3. Standby Labour Attendance 4. Job allocation against departmental requisition 5. Leave 6. Absenteeism/ Disciplinary actions 7. Termination of employment 8. Transfer
The following major activities are carried out in the project.
? Developing above procedures using Oracle Forms as per requirements. ? Creating various Store Reports as per requested by Head Office. ? Support the application from Front End as well as Back End. Responsibilities & Key Areas of working:
• Coordinating with the whole team, application owners, Business Area Managers and directly with clients in most of the situations. • Developing FORMS and REPORTS as per client requirements. • Coding in Oracle 10g for the purpose to support of Stores Module & HR Module. • Documenting new information in regular basis after testing. • Good understanding of HR application. • If any job is about to fail, finding the reason of its failure or delay. • Creating Different documents such as test cases, reference documents etc.
