OHCB will provide host functionality for bank deposit and lending products capable of supporting all customer group and geographies, it is service oriented architecture, capable of handling 100 million accounts, supports 24/7. OHCB Provide a unified framework that aims to improve COBOL developer productivity within HSBC through common tools, services and programming guidelines. Core Banking interacts with various other systems like OH Distribution, OH CDM, and ICCM, OHFX, OH Cards, External payments (OH Payments).Worked in one of the modules SAR(Satements,Advices and Reporting). Member of the team which designed and developed a secure and robust banking system for HSBC.
Designed and developed the Service programs using SQL and DB2 which is based on service based architecture (SBA).
Designed and developed the Green screen (CICS) programs and maps using CICS, COBOL.
Used the Endeavour tool for compilation and expeditor, DTCN tool for debugging the programs.
MQ (message queuing) emulator has been used to trigger the programs.
File Manager has been used to prepare the query of the SQL used and worked closely with DBAs to produce high performance SQL queries.
Designed and developed the batch programs using the VSAM files and created simple JCLs as well.

Attra InfoTech Pvt Ltd 2008 Jan - 2009 July Software Engineer - GE Money GE Money aims to perform the VES(Vision Plus Enterprise Service) Installation and basic testing to consolidate the V+(Vision Plus) global MLI services and FDI based services and bring it in a common platform and strategy is to adopt FDI(First Data International) base service as much as possible by removing custom build MLI(Message Level Interface) service. Member of the team which designed and developed a VES programs for Credit cards in the secured and robust banking system for GE Money.
Designed and developed the Service programs using COBOL which is based on service based architecture (SBA).
Designed the data definitions sheets to create the input and output to be generated as XML.
Resource Definition online (RDO) entries have been prepared for the VES programs using CICS parameters.
Used the Changeman tool for compilation and DTCN tool for debugging the programs.
IE emulator has been used to trigger the programs.
Java simulator J-Meter has been used to conduct the performance testing of the VES programs.
TMON (Transaction Monitoring) is done to capture the CPU% of usage to calculate the amount of CPU used and present the behavior of the programs.

This project comprises of an end-to-end solution that has a Web front end, VMX (Vision plus Message Exchange)/MLI as the messaging layer & Vision Plus as the backend core application that supplies the data to the front end. This project only covers the Vision Plus changes required and more specifically the changes required on V+ for India and Singapore. Member of the team which designed and developed a MLI programs.
