Client: California Federal Bank.
Role: Sr.Software Engineer.

Description: The Anti-Money Laundering system (AML) is an enterprise solution and a major component of the American law - Proceeds of Crime (Money Laundering) And Terrorist Financing Act, 2001 in an effective AML compliance regime. This improves CFB's ability to detect, deter and prevent the use of its many financial products/services and delivery channels for money laundering and terrorist financing purposes.

Responsibilities:

Description: BBOT is Bellsouth Billing and Ordering Tool, which is used by Bellsouth customers (mainly US government) departments to order different telecom products such as MPLS, DSL, Frame relay, point to point, metro Ethernet etc. This tool is implemented for South Carolina State of United states of America. This tool has different users such as agency users who places orders, Order takers, Service Consultants, Service consultant manager, Bellsouth administrator etc. Once the order is placed by customer (Agency user), it is verified and processed by Service consultant to provide the service to the customers. This project has three bigger modules such as CSM/OM, IRB billing and Reporting. The process starts from placing an order in CSM/OM and end at generating reports for the service provided by BBOT.

Description: Leveraging off the credit disclosure option, Home Protector and Loan Protectors disclosure of the cost of insurance, and changes to the cost of insurance, will be provided, either singly or jointly, to all borrowers and co-borrowers, (and guarantors in the case of Home Protectors), who request separate disclosure.
In order to share information between borrowers we must have their consent. To be compliant with the privacy legislation, as well as the financial consumer agency of Canada (FCAC) disclosure requirement, this authorization must be in place for all current and future borrowers. Initial disclosure of cost of Balance Protector Incident's coverage must be provided to the spousal co-applicant.

Description: Currently WSI application is used to handle the contacts for WSI at each center. WSI application is a Client--Server architecture where the applications need to be installed at each one of the center and later data is migrated to centralized location after every month. Expenditure on maintenance is growing and it's getting tedious to manage the application. Any changes to the application need to be sent to the center locations through ftp dump or CD. Maintain data Synchronization is very hard with the existing application (WSI) that is Client-Server Technology. Solution would be a better user-friendly web-application that can maintain centralized database server, easy application enhancements and get rid of migrating data from all centers to the centralized production environment.

The system will be complete with automated communication methods of sending information on appointments - Accepted/Cancelled/Pending authorization to the respective users. It will be supported with various kinds of reports required to easily manage/view the information available.
