at least two years completed -- transcripts furnished upon request)

Basketball Coordinator St. Joseph Grade School 2004 - 2007
I was the basketball coordinator at St. Joseph School in Coraopolis. My duties included scheduling all games for the six different teams that we had, boy's junior-junior varsity, boy's junior varsity, boy's varsity, girl's junior-junior varsity, girl's junior varsity, and girl's varsity. Since we did not have our own gym, we rent gym time; and I negotiated with local gyms in our area for gym time and rental rates. I also made sure that referees were present at all of our home games and made sure that they were paid. Additionally,
I made sure that all of the coaches had their criminal and child abuse clearances. At the end of each month, I tallied the rental fees and composed letters with payment to the various organizations. I also handled parent phone calls when issues could not be resolved by coaches.
The Basketball Coordinator duties have taught me to have good organizational skills. The most difficult part of the job was dealing with parental complaints. Dealing with parents, some of whom were extremely difficult to deal with, has helped me develop excellent people skills and has taught me to be diplomatic.
