Description: This project required automation of windows administration processes through programming to remove the helpdesk administration support. The Programming includes Active Directory programming, Security and Group policy management, updating and upgrade of Antivirus Software, customizing lotus Notes using dotnet, etc.
The sole aim is to reduce the volume of calls at helpdesk by providing them sophisticated tools to help themselves. This is an innovative concept .We got award from Support Soft by taking lead in this concept by at least two years from our competitors IBM, EDS & Accenture.

Responsibility:

• Developed the code for the automation of the windows administration.
• Developed a User Interface for customizing the commonly used features of Lotus Notes using C#
• Supported the estimation process for the development phase.
• Prepare Designer Test Plan to check the test cases.
• Creation of Test Plans, Unit testing and Peer testing (code review).
• Liaised with the onsite team to discuss and resolve issues.

Description: This tool has significantly reduced the testing time by 35%. This tool parses a VBScript file. It takes as input a .VBS file and returns all the variables that have been used but not declared in the script. It is easy to do the same manually but when the .VBS file contains more than 5000 lines, the manual process becomes cumbersome. This tool has been used with over 1600 automated solutions (.VBS files) for clients like Nortel Networks, Motorola, CSCi, UTC, Textron, Air Products (APEX), Pan America (PALIC)

Responsibility:

• Requirement gathering, Analysis and Design.
• Doing groundwork and research for the logic to be implemented.

Description: Customer Delight survey is an online web portal through which a client can give feedback for a particular ticket. Once feedback is received the admin users can login to the survey website and can view the overall feedback. This tool creates dynamic URL for the each of the ticket. This url is sent to client to obtain the feedback from the client on the respective ticket. Business impact of this survey is the generation of a trimester report that captures the trend on various parameters including timeliness, quality of response and effectiveness of solution.
