Software Verification Analyst -- Front End -- Supervisor Mar 1998-Jan 2002 As a QA Analyst I prepared test scripts and test plans, and was instrumental in testing of our front end GUI application, WorldShip International, in multiple languages and operating environments.
Certification Specialist -- Supervisor Mar 1997-Mar 1998 In the role of Cert Spec I created a certification process for our first level technical support team of 300+ individuals. The process tested technician's knowledge of the business, the proprietary software applications and off the shelf Microsoft products. This role was instrumental toward ensuring our technical staff received the expertise to support our external customer base. This was also used as a tool to identify promotion ready individuals.
Help Desk Training Supervisor June 1996-Mar 1997 As a HD Trainer I prepared training materials and taught new hire classes in the 22 proprietary applications and hardware as well as the Microsoft Office suite of applications and varying operating systems (DOS, Windows 3.x, 95, OS2).
As a trainer, I was instrumental toward the development of a new HD site in Michigan. Spending four months onsite I trained 60 new technicians and 5 new supervisors.
Helpdesk Technician Nov 1995-June 1996 In the role of HD Technician I supported 22 proprietary applications for United Parcel Service. Support of the front end GUI applications included navigational assistance, troubleshooting technical issues and instructional support. Applications were DOS and Windows based. In this position I was also the hardware specialist responsible for support of company provided printers, scanners, scales, and connectivity s/w or h/w.
