* Responsible for the systems management of 4 PDP-11s, and a VAX running an online database.
* Evaluated new operating systems, installed new software, wrote new applications programs, resolved all user and system problems
* Designed a developmental project integrating ARPANET for use in a military framework by networking a BBN electronic switch to the Center's LAN

* Responsible for updating the new operating system (DSM-11), networking (DDP) 11/70 to 11/70 and 11/70 to IBM 370, and evaluating all new operating systems.
* Wrote device drivers for special lab computers that read and analyzed tissue and fluid samples so that doctors could get results more efficiently
* Developed a method of switching systems within 15 minutes with little operator intervention to help facilitate keeping the users online, especially the University pharmacy

* Designed and built a database using DATATRIVE for EDS to track equipment and software sold to the U.S. Postal Service so the Postal Service could select efficient logistics.
* Built a very elaborate accounting system and database that took advantage of the newest technologies as a way to reduce EDS's equipment costs to meet contractual obligations
* The subsequent accounting system saved EDS millions of dollars and helped them to turn a profit rather than default on the contract
* Digital adopted the system helping them to track shipments and restore client relationships
