Houston, TX from 7/2007-2/2008 (Contract to Perm)
Company was acquired by El Paso Corporation with 90% employee attrition as of 2-1-08. No contractors were retained. I was brought on board to facilitate the sale by Itegrys Corp of People's Energy Production and to decouple the systems from Itegrys Corporation. .I was the sole People's Energy Production technical staff to facilitate the migration after the company was sold for 875 million.

* Management of approximately 20 servers in 3 company offices including Active Directory, VERITAS Backup exec, Excalibur, Production Access, DVR/Security, UNIdata Excalibur databases, Microsoft SQL 2005, Citrix Presentation Server, and Geographix. This also included hardware/software for all servers, desktops, laptops, network applications, routers/switches.
* Technical liaison and lead to El Paso Corporation staff following completion of the sale. Migrate approximately 20 terabytes of user data, account migration, email migration to El Paso exchange servers, Cisco VPN tunnels and T-1's to El Paso facilities.
* Systems administrator for approximately 100 users. My role included the functionality of IT Manager, Desktop support, Network Administrator, and Application support - desktops, laptops, network applications, routers/switches.
* Application support for Excalibur land/accounting/production revenue, GeoGraphix's ARIES RMS\ GESXplorer\SeisVision\PRIZM, Hummingbird BI/Query, Cygnet electronic meter reading, Cognos Data Beacon, Eagle regulatory forms, Epsilon risk management, IHS Energy, PI/Dwights, OPUS record inventory system, Production Access, SAP R/3, and Peoplesoft.
