Title : CREDIT ONLINE INFORMATION SYSTEM

Description:

Strategic Mind Inc., CA, provides loans to its customers as per their requirements to improve its efficiency; they planned to enhance their system for the client requirement. For getting a loan customer has to fill up an application form online. Based on the EMI generated by the main program the customer has to pay a specified amount every month for a specific period. For the enhancements there were few screens were developed in BMS. Basically these screens are for showing the EMI, the mode of payments etc. The next functionality was to formatting the address of the customers (with the use of passing routine and reference modification), and then makes the report design, which is to be generate every month.


Roles & Responsibilities:


• Preparation of program specification from business requirement document
• Coding, unit Testing
• Creating the Changeman packages and Change parents during implementations.
• Implementation preparation
• Monitored failed Jobs, and resolving the abends.

Title : CSX Transportation

Description:

The CSX transportation is a Fortune 500 rail road transportation company in USA. It has geographic stretch of business in USA. TMS is an integrated Transport Management System for CSX, whose primary responsibility includes delivery of commodities via trains, rail cars, trailers, containers etc. CSX services the customer's needs by picking up the commodity at the customer's industry, switching rail into train, moving the train to destination and finally delivering the commodity to the customer or to another railroad. CSX technology is part of CSX transportation. Its main offices are located at JACKSONVILLE & BALTIMORE, USA.

Worked on CSX Technology, The system involved System Management Services (SMS) and Work order reporting system (WORS). My team strength is seven and we are involved in maintenance and enhancements of all technical aspects.

? Service Management System(SMS):

It is a group of systems that meet the information requirements of the Customer Service Center (CSC) and associated customers. The basic objectives of the SMS system are Consignment tracking, Generation of Alerts, Road Performance Measurement, Monitoring, and CSC Management. The two sub systems in SMS are CPM and NSM. CPM is a source of information service to the customers. The data from all railroads is collected and movement information is provided by the system. NSM deals with movement of intermodal equipment. The CPM and NSM systems receive billing and movement “events” from multiple sources. Evaluates each event to determine if it is part of an existing shipment in progress or the beginning of a new shipment.

? WORKS:-
The work Order Reporting System module of TMS generates Work Orders, which has instructions to be done station milepost by train crews. In the WORS system, the work order is sent to he crew by fax and that crewmember, after completion of his shift, reports the status of the works to update it I the host computer system.
