Project Description: The scope of the project started from receiving black tea to blending and packing finished tea to final sales. The project covers SD, MM, PP & FICO modules of SAP 4.7.

Project Period: From Aug 2004 - Till date

Smart Forms for Sales Invoices.

Sap Scripts for financial certificates (TDS).

BDCs for uploading data from Legacy System into SAP R/3.

Project Description: Development of TEA SUITE, a complete tea package which starts from first level tasting and allocation to own brand or auction selling for own produced black tea. Tasting and grading of teas offered in auction, which the company intends to purchase. Auction floor activities like marking of purchase price, quantity for own purchase as well as competitor's purchase. Allocating own purchase to various brand and locations. Monitoring own tea sold in auction. Monitoring own teas exported. Finally the entire data is uploaded to SAP module.

Project Description: Installation of Citrix server and publishing software in it. Citrix web client configuration at remote locations.

Project Description: Developed a package to monitor the sales at primary level(consignee level) and also at secondary level(stockist/dealer level) and provide daily stock position at consignee level. This enables to forecast the indent for the consignee on a monthly basis. Further this software has the provision for the consignee to regularly update the materials received from the packeting units and also view the materials marked for the consignee, which has been dispatched by the packeting unit. This also provides MIS for Zone/State/City wise sales, state wise budgeted sales v/s actual sales and other necessary MIS.

Project description: Developed a package for monitoring the teas allocated for auction, followed by their arrival at the warehouses, printing in auction, tracking of tea sold in auctions, tracking of teas withdrawn from auctions and diverted to other locations, etc.

Project description: Developed a package for accepting tea samples from garden, followed by tasting, allocation to different poly pack centers and auctions depending on grade, tea type and tasting comments.

Project description: Developed logistics software, which controls the flow of packet tea from packeting centers to the required destination all over the country. This software provides various MIS reports pertaining the flow of goods, stock level transferred, efficiency of the transporter, delay of sending goods, efficient utilization of road permit and monitoring fresh requirement. The software has the provision of online updation of the Stock Transfer Advice from the remote packeting centre and subsequent processing of the data at the branch office.

Environment: All the above mentioned software either runs on Oracle 7.3.4 on SCO Unix 5.0.5 or Oracle 8 on Windows NT 4.0.
The front-end used are either Forms 5.0 & Reports 3.0 or Forms 6.0 & Reports 6.0.

Role: Complete design & development followed by implementation as these are all in-house projects.

Project Description: Developing web based software covering entire Payroll System (including online Time In/Time Out for employees, leave deduction on being late, apart from other basic requirements of a payroll system.

Environment : Software used for backend being Oracle with VB at the front end. Web support by JavaScript, VbScript at client level and ASP at server level. Hosted in IIS.

Role: Worked as a team leader coordinating the design ,development ,integration ,testing and implementation of the package. Team consisted of 4 members.

Project Description: Developed and designed a Billing Software for a respected client. This includes customer account creation, generating monthly subscription bills, generating payment invoices, maintaining cash transaction records, generating daily cash paid/receipt reports, overall amount due reports, etc.

Environment: Software used for backend being Sql Server 7.0 with VB at the front end.

Role: Worked as a team leader coordinating the design ,development ,integration ,testing and implementation of the package. Team consisted of 4 members.

Project Description: Designed a Daily Sales and Service Report system for a reputed educational institution. The design covers creation of the entire system process, definition of data dictionary, data flow diagrams showing the logical flow of data in the whole process, table structure, form design, menu design, report output design, etc.

Environment: This software was developed using Sql Server as the backend and VB as the front end.

Role: Worked as a team leader coordinating the design of the package.


2000-2001 SSI Ltd Guwahati (India)

Project Description: Designing the Network in a completely new setup and maintenance.

Environment : SCO Open Server 5.0 and Windows N.T 4.0 as the O/S. Oracle 8x with D2k and VB as front-end.

Role: Installed a LAN consisting of 16 pc's and a hub having Win NT 4.0 & Unix. Created domains, user accounts, password, password policies, configured peripherals (printer, modem, etc.), trust relationship (Win NT). Taken backups, troubleshoot network problems.

Project Description: Up gradation of the existing Financial Management System from Ingress to Oracle.

Role : Worked as a team member of software development & support team involved in design & development of Financial Management System.
