Plains All American June 2001 to Present
* Integrated two enterprise networks into Plains All American network following two major acquisitions.
* Configured Cisco Call Manager cluster to accommodate new users subsequent to the acquisitions.
* Implemented redundancy in network layers using HSRP, STP, EIGRP, and tracking among other tools to minimize downtime.
* Added 6509s at the core layer and 4507s at the access layer at the corporate site to replace end-of-life hardware and add redundancy.
* Migrated WAN, consisting of over sixty sites, from statically routed Frame-Relay to Sprint MPLS network while incorporating dynamic BGP routing and adding redundancy.
* Designed and implemented an enterprise network disaster recovery plan to provide access to critical business applications at the DR site while sustaining communication with remote sites and mobile users in case of a catastrophe.
* Established over fifty site-to-site VPNs on PIXs/ASAs between the corporate location and remote sites with redundant failover configuration.
* Implemented wireless solution using Cisco 1242 access points at corporate office as well as a few remote sites.
* Evaluated, negotiated, designed, and implemented multiple independent frame-relay networks while lowering the WAN cost by over 35%.
