Enventis Telecom Duluth, MN 6/2005 to 11/2007
Enventis Telecom is a full-service telecommunication provider offering voice, data, and video services.
Network Operations Center Operations Staff
Responsible for proactive support for Enventis Telecom customers for complex telecommunications systems and the Enventis transport systems from DS1 to OC192 circuits. This includes proactively monitoring the health of the network by internal network surveillance and performance systems, troubleshooting complex telecommunications networks, keeping the customer updated on the status of a problem and resolution, and escalating issues to the next level of repair if it cannot be resolved.

Responsible for the design, analysis, project management, installation, acquisition and support of the corporate telecommunications infrastructure including voice, data and video switching for the world's longest petrochemical pipeline. The corporate network carries centralized business systems as well as critical real time pipeline control systems (SCADA) information.
* Developed a one million dollar annual operating budget and a one hundred thousand dollar capital budget to support the wide area network for pipeline control.
