Test Manager-Lead at CareFirst BCBS for several projects. The current project involves standardizing the integration of CareFirst web-based partner applications within CareFirst Single-Sign On and Security capabilities. Coordinating all testing activities across several distinct CareFirst an external vendor development and test departments as well as three parallel projects in various locations. Ensuring test case creation and linking, test execution, aligning development support, defect management, and all status and reporting. Meeting daily with Program and Technical Delivery Managers, Test Managers, business users, and various stakeholders to ensure understanding of current plan and phase scheduling, resource allocation, and level-of-effort expectations. Creating and maintaining all testing and defect management documentation and MQC items, reporting expectations, process continuation, adherence to CMMI requirements, and other testing related activities.
Previous projects included Test Manager activity for the CareFirst Medicare Advantage project by assisting the Technical Delivery Manager in all testing related activities prior to their hiring of a full time manager. Activities included all testing related documentation to cover internally produced applications as well as several applications being produced by multiple external vendors while at the same time maintaining adherence to CareFirst CMMI process expectations.
