Paper mill in Fox Valley: Created and implemented rebates (EDI 867), purchase orders (EDI 850/875), PO acknowledgements (EDI 855), invoicing (EDI 810/880), advance ship notices (EDI 856), vendor managed inventory processing (EDI 852), warehouse shipping notification (EDI 940), load tenders (EDI 204), shipment status (EDI 214), response to load tender (EDI 990), remittance advise (EDI 820), lockbox (EDI 823) and other confidential electronic documents. Acted as lead contact to business partners. Served as lead programmer for major project to modify the entire supply-chain process. Krueger International June 1992 - July 1994 As a senior programmer/analyst my achievements included being a team member who created EDI processing for freight bill and shipment status documents. My work was so well received that I was made solely responsible for the design and creation of several other EDI systems including: Purchase orders, check remittance, and text messages. My work received the honor of “hero of the week” from our CEO. I was also the team leader for the creation of a quoting system which earned myself the “hero” award for a second time.
CAP Gemini America February 1990 - June 1992 As a contract programmer some of my assignments were to create a routine to accept labor tickets from the manufacturing floor and use them as input into payroll to automate the payroll process. I was in charge of converting financials from the S/34 MAPICS to AS/400 BPCS for a furniture manufacturer. I also assisted in the creation of EDI waybill processing module for a local railroad.
Harris Data August 1987 - February 1990 As a programmer/analyst I was a team member who assisted in several software conversations. I was the leader in rewriting a patient admission system for a mid-size rehabilitation center in Milwaukee. As one of two persons on our staff with IBM S/38 experience, I assisted in training several of our programmers the S/38 and the AS/400 when it was first released.
