Project managed the move of networked medical devices within the renovation of Santa Monica UCLA Medical Center and Orthopaedic Hospital and the move of the Westwood UCLA Medical Center into the newly constructed Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center, involving thousands of devices and users. * Added imaging support to the Registrar's Office transcript system with customized document management system. Received the source code from Optical Image Technologies, customized the DBFAST code to the client's needs.
* Designed the process for importing computer generated transcript records into a new COLD system (Computer Output to Laser Disk). The customization process involved parsing the existing code.
* Managed a Windows 3.x system upgrade to a client-server document management system, migrated to a 2-tier architecture with a SQL Anywhere database server. Served as the liaison between product vendor and customer performing the analysis. Designed and documented transcript input and retrieval process. Currently providing ongoing, ad-hoc support.
