PROFILE
Seasoned Infrastructure Technical Architect, capable of putting together complex solutions to meet business requirements. These solutions have been built around MS based platforms and technologies. This developed set of core competencies include OS (Windows 3.51-2003 & XP), messaging(Exchange 4.0-2003) and such enabling technologies as Cisco Unity, Mitel Speak@Ease, RightFAX, Omtool and Faxination, BES 4.0, ForeFront for Exchange, ISA 2004, Sharepointe 3.0/MOSS 2007. Such complex solutions can also include Desktop, network protocols, and a convergence of voice and data technologies. This expertise was built over 12 years IT/IS experience with 10 years in Messaging in a variety of roles and anchored in an understanding and experience with a variety of businesses.

INDEPENDENT CONSULTANT Technical Architect (April2003- July 2006)

Project1 (Federal Govt/ DFO) DFO is in phase one of the infrastructure consolidation for improved productivity and lower cost; from an Windows 2000/Exchange 5.5 core decentralized infrastructure to a more centralized Windows 2003/ Exchange 2003 model. This will include new project elements such as clustering, Data Centre, ISA 2004, BES, XP, AD, e-FAX in the enterprise around Data Centres.
Role/Accountable for: Architecting new Messaging Infrastructure for DFO, migration and testing strategy, development of instruments required for completing the Phase One requirements such as Requirements Definition using Industry best practices and MSF guidelines. Support the business case submission.

Project2: (POS/E-commerce) Architect new IT Infrastructure core for Moneris Solutions and migrate users/ data/ mail from parent (major bank) company using MSF guidelines. Establish new processes to match new solution, improve documentation and study and recommend improvements. Migration from NT 4.0 to Windows 2003 Infrastructure and from Exchange 2000 to Exchange 2003. Includes new project elements such as MS software clustering, MS NLB, ISA 2004, BES 4.0, MOM 2005, XP, AD, VPN.
Role/Accountable for: Technical leadership (including architecture and implementation) for entire project. Use MSF to drive the entire solution from the backend to the front end and from documentation to process flow/ workflow. Project3: (Secured Messaging Pilot Support & Evaluation) DND-Military Message Handling System Secured Messaging Infrastructure. Pilot Support, Testing & Evaluation of MS Exchange 2000, X500, X509 & California Microwave MFGW based solution.
Role/Accountable for: Co-Leading the Pilot Evaluation Testing and Support for Beta Test User Group. Other areas of responsibilities: AD test & verification support, Documentation for Operations and recommendations for improvement, Document preventative maintenance procedures, monitor messaging security compliance, Training of Management Staff in AD Administration.
