Description of the Project Brazil Tax:
 
Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. has subsidiary in Brazil. The present code is not compliant with the Brazil Tax regime. The project is designed to have this non-compliance to Brazil tax regime be corrected.
 
JAPAN GLS integration:
 
Wal-mart  , which bought new compaines in JAPAN, needs to integrate the new systems to the HOME Office systems. Hence this project is for gathering requirement, implementing the project so that new systems are integrated with the existing HOme office systems

Description of the Project RTS (Ready To Serve) is a Maintenance and support project. Bucket-4 is one of the pools in RTS. TIM is one wing of the applications in bucket-4.

Time input management ( TIM) system tracks the hours applied by the GE Energy employees. These details are entered in TIM, which would send information to payroll after doing due processing on them.

My Responsibilities As a team member, was responsible for
General Application Support and Maintenance.
Production support.
Requirements gathering for the new enhancements, implementing them.
Assisting the requirement gathering for the TIM replacement ( Kronos)
General coordination and management of the project (Communications, Tracking and Status updates)
Responsible for overseeing the Quality procedures related to the project.
Assist in Project Migration from Mainframe to Kronos. Help them in background data migration from Mainframe to the new system.

2 PROJECT COPICS and Triggers

Description of the Project TRIGGERS
This application sends triggers for 3,04,000 items and 85,000 BOMS to the different applications like COPICS system and eBOM and running a BOM compare using an existing scripts. This functionality will help sync up the Items and Bill of Materials in COPICS and eBOM systems and will significantly reduce the eBOM administration effort. The Regular support activities include communicating with users and various support groups across the Globe in different time zones through Messenger and Mail.

COPICS
RTS (Ready To Serve) is a Maintenance and support project. Bucket-5 is one of the pools in RTS. COPICS is one wing of the applications in bucket-5. COPICS deals with customer order maintenance from entry to delivery. It has many interfaces to external systems.
My Responsibilities Running the scripts for Item Triggers and BOM triggers
Running a BOM compare
Notifying the concerned RTS team or GCS Engineering contact in case of any discrepancies
Re-processing any items or boms as required after error resolution
Document the status of the completion of triggering, BOM compare results and any error resolutions (will be done as per the template provided by GE)
General coordination and management of the project (Communications, Tracking and Status updates)
Analysis of the specifications provided by the clients for coding SCRs
Application Support
Responsible for overseeing the Quality procedures related to the project.

Description of the Project The Overall Scope of the project is to provide application support services to the application and to comply with the service level agreements agreed between Reuters and Satyam for the application support services.

Invoicing and Revenue Analysis System (IRAS) supports all the billing and revenue analysis requirements of Reuter's business. It is one of the 5 Core-Suite applications of REUTERS. The Input data comes from another Core-suite application COMPASS which gives the details such as the date from which an item is to be billed, is it a Once-off or Recurring billing, is it a third part y items which are to be billed, what are the tax rates, discount rates, unit price etc which are essential for billing.

The Regular support activities include communicating with users and various support groups across the Globe in different time zones through RM and Mail.
