EMPLOYMENT HISTORY
3/2004-Present Operation & System Tech. Advanced East Carolina Univ., Greenville, NC As a Production Control Specialist; I worked with the Human Resource & Payroll database Human Resource (HRMS) system. My duties consist of providing comprehensive planning, analytical and technical support to the administrative users of the University community, administering plans used to schedule Human Resource and Payroll for the University and consults with programming staff and users at all levels in service issued; administer production applications on the Banner client server and the AppWorx scheduler importing and exporting chains and modelers (jobs). My past position consist of the mainframe platforms; schedule Human Resource (HRMS) and Payroll production mainframe applications that run on IBM ES9000 (test and production systems) under IDMS database structure. Follow and communicate instructions, and use initiative to investigate, identify and resolve problems with the aid of advance technologies. I have thorough knowledge of IBM, MVS, ESA, JES3, DB2, SAS/ IDMS, JCL, FTP, TSO, TCP/IP, BETA 42, CA-1/TMS, and a little training in QMF Scheduler and ETS/FTP. My job consist of working with HRMS Database, FTP Direct deposits, audit trail, labor report, JCL'S, DOCLIB, JOBLIB, scheduling nightly jobs, daily request jobs and creating documentation manuals and assisting with the student and financial database. Created & Maintain SharePoint site for Production Control (SharePoint Porter Server 2003) SQL Server & SQL Programming learned online classes. In the course of my duties as a Lead Computer Operator, I am responsible for performing a full range of daily activities involving, two mainframes batch production in a large multi-platform (MVS & IDX) environment, running backups using VERTIAS NETBACKUP, Windows NT 4.0, high speed laser printers. During my tenure with East Carolina University, a substantial part of my duties have included, troubleshooting computer and network malfunction, rectifying operator errors, performing IPL's, Opscan test grading, correcting or assisting in the correction of software problems with the aid of programmers, working with production control running Beta 42 scheduler. Second shift operation was also after hour Help desk Analysis, which consisted handling all problem calls using the Magic software program and resetting passwords on the Servers; I also assume supervisory duties; assist with interview new hires and training.
