As the technology lead, I am driving the business and architecture design for the development and deployment of a pharmaceuticals CRM, eDetailing, WEB Marketing solution. This CRM solution is a data warehouse built using the .Net Framework and provided as SaaS. My role involves:
Develop and present the overall business plans and demos required to promote the solution for investors and prospective customers.

Achievements:
I was able to introduce advanced IT concepts into Hikma's operations in Jordan and managed to establish Hikma's five years IT vision to support the deployment of global solutions such as SAP/R3, Sales& Marketing CRM using salesforce.com, Intranet Portals, IP telephony, Document Management System, eCTD and a helpdesk system. I have also established the software validation and compliance strategy to meet FDA 21 CFR 11 compliance regulatory requirements.

As the director of management information systems for Hikma Pharmaceuticals, I managed 15 IT professional and an operating budget in excess of $ 4 Million. I was accountable for:
Established the global IT strategy and 5 years plan to support Hikma's operations in UK, Jordan, USA, Portugal, Italy, Algeria and other 33 countries where Hikma has distribution offices.
Responsible for the IT infrastructure in terms of email systems, internet, server environments, lab IT environments, desktop environment and IP telephony and Hikma's website.
Responsible for the deployment of new emerging technologies. I have deployed a new advanced CRM solution based on salesforce.com platform, Designed and implemented a drug ordering system for both pharmacies and sales reps using WAP mobile devices.
Overseen the deployment of SAP/R3 in Jordan utilizing resources in Jordan, USA and India.
Established the Disaster Recovery and Business continuity plans to meet the business needs and IT compliance requirements for FDA and Financial IT audits.

Achievements
I led the development and implementation of AIT's passport issuance system "GenIE" with a team of 7 engineers. I successfully completed the development and implementation activities for five projects since 1997.
Responsibilities:
As a software Director, I was responsible for the development and implementation of AIT's passport issuance system "GenIE". I successfully completed the development and implementation activities for five projects since 1997. My work involved the analysis, design, development and support. I also participate in important technical presentations and assist the marketing and sales teams in estimating engineering work. AIT provides a number of total solutions for the issuance of secure identifications documents, electronic document readers and secures document printing. These solutions are developed using PowerBuilder 6.5 as the front-end GUI and Sybase or MS-SQL as the database engine.
Namibia Passport Issuance System: I was responsible for the customization and development of the passport issuance system for Namibia using PowerBuilder on MS-SQL database platform.
Haiti Passport Issuance System: With a team of 3, I managed to deliver the project 1 month ahead of schedule and saved the company more than 35% of the estimated development budget. I was responsible for the field deployment to guarantee customer satisfaction. The system runs against a Sybase database for about 30 users to issue 1300 passports a day.
BVI Issuance System: For the British Virgin Islands I lead a team of 2 to deliver the required customizations for the system. The system was delivered on time and budget. This is the site that was considered the model in customer satisfaction.
Bahrain Wise Issuance System: I lead the team to add support for the Arabic Language, perform the required customizations and the deployment of the solution.
Marinbridge Corporation - Senior Consultant/Project Manager July 1996 - July 1997
Achievements/Responsibilities:
I played an instrumental role to deliver a number of projects including the design of the Strategic Account Management system, the preparation of a Technology Infrastructure Recommendation for IDRC and the development of iStar's Billing and Customer Service Systems.
AMS Management Systems - Designer and Team Leader December 1993 - July 1996
Achievements:
I achieved a number of awards and recognitions for my significant contributions during the implementation of a number of projects such as the Automated Buyer Environment System (ABE) for Public Works and Government Services Canada, Government Financial System (GFS) for the Government of Kuwait, Payroll system (PYAC) for Health Canada and the Budget Planning System (BPS) for Kuwait.
Responsibilities:
Automated Buyer Environment System (ABE): As a senior business systems analyst and designer, I led a team of 10 software developers, working on subsystems of the Automated Buyer Environment System (ABE) for Public Works and Government Services Canada. The development environment was PowerBuilder, C and C++.
Government Financial System (GFS): Worked on the specification and implementation of the enhancements and maintenance of the Government Financial System (GFS) and the payroll system (PYAC) for Health Canada. This involved reviewing program specifications, analysis of user change requests, and coding the required solution. I also, used Extract Manager to analyze data problems and solutions. I also prepared part of the detailed program specifications of the MDFS multi-departmental system. The development environment was COBOL.
Government Financial System (GFS): As a project leader / systems analyst, I was a member of AMS/TAGI team responsible the customization and Arabization of AMS's Government Financial System for the Ministry of Finance in Kuwait. I analyzed user requirement, prepared detailed design modification and prepared the user manual in both languages Arabic and English. The development environment was COBOL.
Budget Planning System (BPS): As a business / systems analyst for TAGI, I worked on the Budget Planning System (BPS) with a team for the Ministry of Finance in Kuwait. I reviewed the functional specifications of the integrated system and designed the financial forecasting modules.
