SUMMARY

Applications technical consultant with over 30 years of varying experience in the IT field. Since 1993, I have specialized in implementing, extending and customizing Oracle Financials, Order Management and other applications on UNIX, Windows and Linux based systems.

During my engagements, in both lead and key member rolls, I have participated in the full lifecycle of client implementations including Requirements Gathering, Business Analysis, System Configuration, Design, Development, Testing, and Support. I interact directly with the client, using my understanding of systems and business processes, to interpret and analyze business requirements, to identify risks and design appropriate solutions that integrate information technology and business process changes to support strategic business requirements.

I also have provided guidance for business decisions from a technical perspective on issues such as: performance, scalability, reliability, and security

From July 1997 to November 2006, I was part of the Consulting group of Oracle Canada, participating in multiple implementations. From 1993 to 1997, I was technical team lead in the successful implementations of Oracle Financials, in the Canadian and Latin American subsidiaries, of a multi-national corporation. Prior experience includes Professional Services, and MIS.

Technical lead for the implementations of Oracle Financials in the Canadian and Latin American subsidiaries of Unisys Corporation

November 1993 - December 1994

Led the application technical group during the successful implementation of General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Purchasing, Accounts Receivable, and Fixed Assets level 9.4.2, in the Canadian subsidiary. Major responsibilities also included assisting the business users in mapping their business requirements to the new applications and setting up the modules. Guided the technical team in the development of interfaces, conversions, reports, Alerts, triggers, FlexFields etc. for the various modules. Designed and wrote numerous interfaces, reports, triggers, etc. for A/P, G/L, PO, A/R and R/A.

January 1995 - December 1996

Performed the application technical implementations of General Ledger and Accounts Payable for seven Latin American subsidiaries. Again concentrated on assisting the business users in mapping their requirements and developing interfaces, conversions and reporting extensions. In total, participated in seven General Ledger and five Accounts Payable implementations during this period.

January 1997 - March 1997

Designed and wrote various interfaces and reports for Corporate Head Office Oracle Purchasing system.

April 1997 - June 1997

Participated in initial stages of project to convert Oracle Financials level 9.4.2 to level 10.7.
