Additional professional activities

2005 - 2006 Video Signage Consultant Cozumel, MX

Contracted by Schaid and Associates and Motorola to consult and design a video distribution system that could feed video and audio signals around the island of Cozumel, Playa Del Carmen, and Talum MX. The video distribution system is proposed for the purpose of video signage displays mounted at various parts of the cities. Along the large screen displays, kiosk's and video/audio/data signal from a centralized media center would be deployed. The media center was designed to distribute 10 video media channels, data, internet and background music. Distribution will be provided by a wireless network system utilizing 802.11a/b technology also provided in the original contract. The system was approved and is at this time under construction.

1999 - 2000 Custom Audio/Video Interior Design Ann Arbor, MI

Contracted by a professional movie star to consult, design and install a custom video/audio hi-fi distribution system and a home theater system. Equipment deployed, Luxman, Crestron, Niles, Advent, and Audio Concepts.

1986 - 1987 Custom Audio/Video Interior Design Oshkosh, WI

Contracted by a Beer Distributor professional to consult, design and install a custom video/audio hi-fi distribution system and a home theater system. Equipment deployed - Luxman, Crown, Niles, Madisound, and Audio Concepts.

1986 - 1987 Custom Audio/Video Sports Bar Design Oshkosh, WI

Contracted by a local sports bar establishment to consult, design and install a custom multiple big screen video system. Along with the video system, a high end sound system was deployed with custom built speaker enclosures were designed and constructed to provide a masked sound environment. The system was a success and is still in operation today. Equipment deployed - Crown, LG, Panasonic, SAE, Madisound, and Soundcraftman.

1984 - 1985 Custom Audio/Video Interior Design Lincoln, NE

Contracted by a professional motel broker to consult, design and install a custom video/audio hi-fi distribution system and a home theater system. Equipment deployed - Crown, Sony, SAE, Bose, Madisound, and Soundcraftman.

1984 - 1985 Microwave / Mobile Studio .Design Chelsea, MI

Contracted by a professional satellite video systems company to design a mobile uplink satellite truck. The truck was to provide uplink and downlink signals in the C and Ku frequency bands.

EXTRA CURRICULAR

Worked at a very young age, at my father television shop. Learned electronic repair of video, audio, television and radio.
Work at the age of 16 as an electrical contractor. Learned to wire houses and commercial buildings. Learned electrical codes and how to bend conduit.
As a young child, had a strong interest in high end audio systems and amateur radio.
At the age of 15, I was designing speaker enclosures and other audio equipment.
At the age of 9, received my second class amateur radio license.

HOBBYS
I am active in the American Power Boat Association and race inboard hydroplanes during the summer months.
