• Application: Assist client with performance testing four new core business applications, called “Renaissance" for production release readiness

• Platform: Dell / Windows NT - MS WEB, Mail, Firewall servers and ORACLE database server Users: 12+ Canadian and US school district clients.
• Scope: Direct responsibility - Project planning, estimating, resourcing, scheduling, status reporting and Managing a core team of 9+; GUI, ASP, VB developers, Infrastructure technicians, Solution Architect, DBA, Firewall and Security specialists. I managed all the RUP phases: Inception; Elaboration; Construction and Transition on the project.
• I co-ordinate the client's project manager, development team efforts with the project team to ensure delivery by both teams was a seamless rollout of the pilot WEB Portal.
• I assisted in the selection of the web server-hosting site in Seattle, WA USA and selection criteria for the production environment.
• This was a fixed price project, with a fixed end-date, high profile and mission critical to the client. The project completed in 6 weeks on schedule; under budget and to the client's satisfaction.
