AS a leading Investment bank, At Credit-Suisse financial evaluation office Enterprise databases are grouped based on the applications they support. DBAs are assigned to support specific group of databases, but must support all databases during On-Call, Recovery and other special occasions. DBAs are responsible for supporting the production and development environments, maintained on RHEL 3 & 4.0 Cluster Environment.

Dealt with production databases comprised of two instances: 380 and 200 Gigabytes in size. The total implementation used oracle 9i on an HP 9000 running UNIX and using NetApp storage devices. Where I installed oracle server 8.1.7.1.1 and upgraded to 8.1.7.3.0 and in overtime this became 9.0.1 & 9.2.0 oracle Fail Safe environment
For another client in Saudi I worked as Production DBA for a 2.3 Terabyte oracle8i instance where I assisted primarily in migrating the production database from Sun 6500 to Sun E10000.
