- Layout Designer/Libraries and Infrastructures
Designed custom layout for CMOS library structures meeting the latest design rule specifications in 90nm, 65nm and 45nm SOI and bulk technologies. Complex layout required frequent communication with engineers, participation in design reviews and quick turn-around for on time delivery. Design Tools included Linux based work stations running Cadence Virtuoso 5.0/6.1 and Virtuoso XL. Assura and Calibre used for DRC, MRC,DFM and LVS verification.

Created Custom layout of approximately 130 test structures using 90nm design rules and CMOS090 alliance layer list. Design Tools included Unix based Cadence Virtuoso 4.4.6 for layout; Cadence Assura for DRC and LVS verification. Used Cadence Virtuoso full custom layout editor to provide physical design support for new devices. Worked closely with designers to layout both digital and analog circuits. Performed chip level tasks such as floorplanning, block and cell level layout, chip level hookup, and final verification. Used Design Rule Checking and Layout Verification error reports to produce clean cells.

Provided technical support to engineering teams by measuring and evaluating ICs in the lab. This required interpreting schematics and drawings, setting up test circuits and collecting data. Organized test results and created charts using Windows Excel. Created Schematics with Pads Power Logic and printed circuit boards (PCBs) with Power PCB software.
