Instrumental in deployment of Allied Telesis DSLAM 9700, 9400, and 9100 series platform to support customers in Minnesota, Oregon and Washington. Router & Switch Configurations/Access Lists - Responsible for maintaining router and switch configurations. Updating and changing configurations depending on corporate requirements.
Documentation - Insured current documentation is kept on LAN/WAN configurations, frame-relay and point-to-point circuits, along with circuit IDs, and DLCIs for all of Sequent's circuits worldwide. Visio Drawings drawn and updated for reference use continuously.

Create spreadsheets for all outages, giving start and end times, their duration and cause. Responsible to work with telecom vendors to provide repair and/or enhancements to Sequent's WAN.
Scopus - Network operations queue, work as primary contact for LAN/WAN support. Responsible to see that cases are completed following the severity level metrics. Took care of RAS queue as backup.
Troubleshooting of network problems - Making physical changes to routers, switches, DSU/CSUs to increase performance or to return equipment to operation. Run Sniffer traces, run debugs, and testing on hardware to identify source of failure.
Software updates -
Perform router and switch IOS upgrades to gain new capabilities or to fix IOS bugs.
