MSE Power Systems, Albany, N.Y. (Contract from J.J. Young)
-Generated wiring diagrams, interconnection diagrams & layout drawings related to the installation of replacement circuit breakers for the upgrade of (12) 115kV, 34.5kV substation yards for Central Maine Power. Created xref's & edited raster image drawings to include new data. Updated mylar drawings of foundation, grounding, cable trench & conduit plans for construction bids. Received & followed-up on "As-Built" conditions to said project using manual drafting. Participated in weekly teleconference design meetings with Project Manager & Project Engineer. Design & construction of these substations were completed within the time & budgetary schedules outlined by the owner.
-Using photographs & written information, modified interior of control house at Albany Nanotech substation yard adding new conduit runs, electrical raceways & panelboards. Included redline mark-ups from field prints. Updated vendor specifications of equipment used at Albany Nanotech substation as well as schematics, electrical block & logic diagrams. Edited individual electrical blocks for new attribute text information.
-Applied both client-specific & MSE Power Systems CAD standards.

-Responsible for the layout of single-line & double-line piping re-fits for institutional & commercial buildings from separate sets of architectural & structural drawings. Researched Internet for engineering data on pumps, vessels & equipment. Incorporated CAD vendor data from pumps & tanks into AutoCAD drawings to determine locations of piping connections & instrumentation.
