Professional Experience

RCMP: Regional Manager, Procurement and Contracting 2001 -- 2007

Developed, led and managed a dispersed group of 39 managers and staff in the provision of Supply Chain Management services to the North West Region (AB, SK, MB, NWT & Nunavut) including goods procurement, warehousing and distribution, disposal operations, food services, construction contracting, and contracting for services. This included the management of fiscal and human resources, policy development and enforcement, staffing and training. This was a senior management position.

Various Departments: Materiel Management 1972 - 2001

I held increasingly responsible positions, within various federal departments providing materiel management and supply chain management to federal operations in Eastern Canada. This included a 10 year period, in Ottawa, as a policy specialist authoring, implementing and monitoring national policy in the areas of Procurement, Vehicle Management and Disposal Operations..

I also spent several years in the Canadian Forces Land Reserve (Militia) as a Supply Technician achieving the rank of Sergeant. This provided additional Materiel Management, Leadership, Training and Vehicle Operator training and experience.
