Professional Experience and Background:

August 2004 -- Present: SBS, a Brocade company
• Installing and configuring Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 and Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 on Microsoft Windows Server 2003 and Microsoft Windows Server 2008.
• Clustering: SCC and CCR clustering and SCR replication.
• Installing and configuring EMC Clariion SAN storage systems.
• Worked in the NOSC Exchange Help Desk supporting the Army National Guard production Exchange organization and troubleshooting Exchange 2003 issues.
• Worked in the NOSC Exchange Help Desk supporting the Exchange migration for the Army National Guard. Installing Exchange 2003 remotely and supporting field teams with the migration, troubleshooting Exchange 2003 issues.
• Engaged in a project for the Army National Guard performing migration from MS Exchange 5.5 to MS Exchange 2003. This includes installing Exchange 2003 on EMC Clariion SAN-attached clustered Dell servers running MS Windows 2003, and using the Quest Aelita Exchange Migration Wizard to migrate users' mailboxes.
• I was a lead field tech on the largest ever successful Active Directory migration, moving the Army National Guard from a Windows NT network to Windows 2003, using the Quest Aelita Domain Migration Wizard to migrate users, servers and workstations.

July 2002 -- July 2004: ABBTECH Staffing Services, Lead MS Tech
• Engaged in a project for the Navy and Marine Corps (NMCI) building clustered Dell Windows 2000 servers with large EMC Clariion SAN-based storage. SUN Solaris based ACSLS systems used as interfaces to tape backup devices. Some Citrix Metaframe experience.

March 1982 -- June 2002: NCR Corporation, Senior Consultant
• Performed several HP OpenView engagements, installing, configuring, setting up alerts, etc.
• Performed Microsoft Windows 2000 Assessments at several different public sector and commercial customers. Interviewed customers, analyzed systems and networks using non-intrusive tools and determined enterprise readiness to migrate to Windows 2000. All engagements were concluded with written reports and management presentations.
• Provided on site hardware and software support for the US Census 2000. I was a member of a team that provided Level II Support of five storage area networks. The SAN provided approximately 21 Terabytes of storage architected on Dell PowerVault and Dell PowerEdge Server platforms.
• Scheduled and dispatched software engineers for a major financial institution for their Y2K application upgrade projects. I provided Level II Support for NT Workstation based custom applications.
• Provided onsite help-desk and integration lab support for several retail and financial enterprise-class solution rollouts in New England. I supported hardware from AT&T, NCR, Gateway and other vendors. I was responsible for COTS and Custom Applications on both server and workstation platforms.
