• Met 100% uptime SLA for 2 consecutive years, deployed successful disaster recover and redundancy to meet this goal. This was achieved for Pfizer's global Identity & Access Management infrastructure. This system is the corporate LDAP repository for all electronic identities for both employees and external entities. Extended the enterprise deployment of hardware to both APAC and EMEA and augmented the AMER deployment. Worked with Burton Group and an industry recognized consulting firm, to develop the IAM infrastructure and processes. • Integrated Identity & Access Management system with over 1200 applications into the Single Sign On (SSO) and LDAP infrastructure, this required deploying over 40 servers to 4 data centers on 3 continents, this required working with many different teams to procure, deploy and set up servers to meet production requirements. • Served as Project Manager for multiple Windows/Novell projects, managed personnel and subordinates (up to 45), for a major pharmaceutical company that required organization of domestic and international resources and talent. Led merger of North American Novell based computer systems with similar systems based in Europe, South America, and Pacific Rim. Coordinated all facets of IT work including: WAN links, software versions, configuration preparation, and skill level assessment of local projects and personnel for project related work. The results of these projects included over 25 NDS tree merges and one NDS tree split. Lead a project to upgrade NetWare from 4.x to 5.x across the enterprise of 400+ servers. • Worked with regional (Europe, South America, and Pacific Rim) liaison personnel to brief and discuss roll out of new computer system which required deployment of new hardware and upgrading existing software. Familiarity with problems and challenges faced with working in an international IT environment. • Led corporate wide Netware infrastructure projects and computer system operations with up to 35,000 users, 1000+ servers, spanning 25+ countries, and over 200,000 objects, and covering up to 20 time zones. • Lead and chaired the enterprise wide NetWare and NDS council. This council was responsible for all Novell related initiatives. Utilized this council to coordinate and obtain acceptance on all Novell projects to many levels of management and all divisions. This council gathered requirements and determined the project scope and priority which enabled a successfully managed upgrade of Netware from v4.x to v5.0 and then to v5.1 and from NDS to eDirectory. • The enterprise NDS/Netware group supported a GroupWise system that included 44,000 names in the address book, which is one of Novell's largest deployments of GroupWise. During this time, the email system was upgraded from version 4.1 to 5.0 and then up to 5.5. Designed and migrated 700 users to GroupWise 4.1 prior to taking a position at corporate for the Enterprise NDS.

Relationship Manager / Technical lead on the Novell Elimination project, handled all technical and Project Management tasks and compiled daily reports for management. This was a short term assignment to reduce the Novell Netware footprint in the TIAA-CREF environment. Responsibilities with this project included coordinating all corporate wide communications concerning client and user disablements and deletions. Compiled lists from various data feeds of workstations and users that would not require NetWare in the future.

Managed daily activities for the Identity & Access Management (IAM) Single Sign On (SSO) infrastructure. The responsibilities of this position included Project Management for all new system deploys and upgrades across the environment. Additionally, served as the Relationship Manager for the IAM / SSO infrastructure for all divisions in Pfizer. The complete service for IAM consisted of two separate teams (Operations & Integration) totaling seven people. The IAM / SSO project is the corporate LDAP directory containing data for every colleague, contractor and external entities. The IAM / SSO project is the Pfizer solution for Sarbanes Oxley compliance.

Enlisted: New Jersey Air National Guard Served as a Cryptographic Communication Systems Repair (306x0). The responsibilities of this position include electronic troubleshooting, repair, upgrade and general system maintenance of electronic Cryptographic and communication equipment. This position required a TOP SECRET security clearance. After coming out of tech school I completed all necessary development courses to grow my skill level and proficiency to master my career field. After having achieved this proficiency I then took on the responsibly of mentoring more junior technicians. Officer: United States Navy Earned a commission in the US Navy upon completion of Aviation Officer Candidate School in Pensacola, Florida. Training consisted of Primary Flight School. While in this training command flight training was cut due to budgetary concerns during the Gulf war and simultaneously a large draw down in the active duty forces.
