* Manage a Multi-Platform Data Center that is a replicated image of the production environments in San Dimas running MVS, SAP, RS6000, UNIX and AS400s
* Manage departmental budget in excess of $7M.
. Ensure that all replication technologies being used are monitored, functional and capable of business recovery.
* Receive / Approve from a Disaster Recovery perspective, installation of changes to any of the production systems and platforms are concurrent in both locations.
* Maintain and test Disaster and Business Recovery procedures.
* Data Center security, file and data retention.
* Maintain inventory and supplies for the Disaster Recovery Data Center.

Accomplishments

* Planned for, designed and implemented the physical configuration of all hardware in the Rancho Bernardo Data Center, including room for future system growth and expansion of not only the production systems but the QA and Certification environments.
* Tested and proved the systems functionality recovers the entire business to its previous night's backups in less than four hours from a declared time of an event.
* Test and prove the replication and systems functionality recovers the entire business to within one hour of an event.
