Distributed Enterprise Centralized Management - Avaya, NJ. Nov 2006 -- Dec 2007
DECM is a management application to support centralized provisioning of a network of Local Branch Boxes (LBB) and to address the needs for provisioning a large number of LBBs. I have developed a Voicemail manager, which is one of the domain managers. Voice Mail is an important feature that allows configuring mail boxes in order that messages may be left for a user.

Responsibilities:
• Involved in Design of Voicemail manager.
• Involved in creating DTP for voicemail manager.
• Developed Voicemail manager module.
• Involved in developing User module.
• Involved in writing Session beans using Eclipse 3.0 IDE.
• Involved in writing Entity Beans to create tables in the PostgreSQL.
• Implementation of the Logger functionality using Log4J.

National Electronics Warranty (NEW) - Sterling, VA. Oct 2005 -- Aug 2006
NEW is basically into extended warranty business. The scope of the project was to provide end-to-end services to NEW for all their products. Some of the clients for whom I was involved in development of their warranty sites were Lowes and Ebay.

Responsibilities:
• Involved in the Design phase for conversion of the existing EDS framework code to Struts specifications.
• Used core EBAY API's and Verisign functionality for Credit Card validations while upgrading EBAY warranty site to Struts framework.
• Involved in writing JSP, Java, Struts Config files as per the Struts framework guidelines.
• Involved in implementing Client side validation using JavaScript and maintaining the look and feel of all the screens using Cascading style sheets (CSS).
• Implementation of the Logger functionality using Log4J.
• Created unit test cases for the modules developed.
• Responsible for resolving the tickets raised by clients, a production support utility.

KBC (S1, India) Aug 2004 -- Jul 2005
The scope of the project was to customize the banking product of S1 as per the country specific requirements of KBC branches spread worldwide. The scope was limited to France, Germany, Hungary, Netherlands and Czechoslovakia specific changes. The JAVA beans handle the BO part and the database used is IBM DB2. The work breakdown in the project was as per the payment types in typical banking applications, i.e. Payment and Collections.

Responsibilities:
• Understanding the banking domain for Germany, Hungary, France, Netherlands and Czechoslovakia and customize the UI as per the UI specs. Provided by the client.
• Designing the forms for countries like Czechoslovakia, USA and Poland using class diagram feature in Enterprise Architect.
• Involved in creation of model Java classes (BO) to implement the payment rules and regulations for various modules in the application.
• Involved in JSP coding for different country specific Forms.
• Developed generic Java Script functionalities for form field validation.

New India Assurance (S1, India) Aug 2002 - Jun 2004
NIA Japan is the oldest foreign branch, offering its services mainly in the areas of Motor (Automobile), Fire, Marine and Personal accident insurance. NIA has its regional office in Tokyo supervising the operations of 8 branches and 6 sub-branches spread all over the Japan. The project was to develop a complete integrated web-based solution (Multilingual application) for the Japanese operations. We had used MVC design pattern for the same. The solution covered the following lines of business: - Fire, Motor, Personal Accident and Miscellaneous. The functionality covered was: - Policy Management, Endorsements, and Claims Processing.
