Trade360 Project:
• Presently working with Proponix team performing Business Objects(BO) XI R3.1 upgrade from R2. This includes administrator activities such as installations, migrations and configuring the new software for Both Object Trade Line (OTL) and Trade Portal customers.
• Work with SAP support to resolve any BO related tickets/issues.
• Modify/Create new BO Deski/Webi reports and Universes.
• Designed new Access Control Lists (ACL) feature in BOXI R3.1 to implement user, application and folder level security on Central Management Console (CMC).
• Specified the Joins, checked the cardinalities and resolved loops by either using Aliases or Contexts.
• Implemented Security Features of Business Objects like row level, object level and report level security.
• Create and Build new Java applications using BO Software Development API�s.
• Modify and Build C# DLL and make sure it communicates with OTL Power Builder application.

Citywide Query and Reporting Project:
• Presently working with Query & Reporting team to analyze, design and construct reports from data warehouse using Business Objects XI. Pervasive Data Integrator (PDI � very similar to Informatica) is used to populate data from OLTP application database to data warehouse.
• Designed and developed Universes using Business Objects Universe Designer.
• Designed and created WEBI reports using Web Intelligence Rich Client and InfoView.
• Created reports involving table/section breaks, multiple data providers and derived tables.
• Coordinated with offshore team for report deliveries.
• Converted about 120 DESKI reports to WEBI using BO Conversion tool. These processes also involved analyzing the SQLs more closely and modify the prompts and objects in WEBI reports.

Citywide Interfaces Project:
• Implemented extraction/transformation/load (ETL) interfaces to facilitate transitioning from old legacy mainframe systems to Oracle systems.
• Created complex transformation maps using PDI Map Designer for encapsulating data in XML format. With the help of shell scripts, this data is then loaded & submitted onto AMS advantage database. Acted as Subject Matter Expert (SME) in guiding offshore team to create few transformation maps.
• Designed more than 50 interfaces as per client requirements and had continuous meetings with them to ensure they are concurred.
• Developed various shell scripts using Korn shell to extract, transform and load the agency data.
• Designed Interface Manager framework which involved creating new tables, use cases and mockups of application screens. These screens were then built using IBM WebSphere Versata software.
• Designed Open Items Extract (OIE) processor to extract data from Oracle tables and created pipe delimited files. This data was then sent to other City agencies for further processing. OIE processor was implemented fully as standalone J2EE application.
• Developed few COBOL programs to load data from flat files to IBM DB2 tables. Coded JCLs to invoke these COBOL programs and other DB2 utilities.
• Worked very closely with offshore team to deliver all the interfaces before the deadline.

• Performed Functional Verification and Testing (FVT) of Data Management Application Programming Interfaces (DMAPI) for General Parallel File System (GPFS) on Scalable Power Parallel (SP) nodes. Coding was done mainly in C and shell.

The main object of the project was to incorporate Compression algorithm for compressing the system dump. Standard LZW algorithm was used for achieving the same. Some utilities related to system dump like crash etc., were also updated to cater to the new feature. The scope of the project also included Unit testing, FVT, CMVC, & three-week support period for the enhanced code.
• Provided level 3 technical support to AIX customers worldwide.
