Slot Data System (SDS):
Slot Data System (SDS) is an integrated information system that continually monitors slot machines, other gaming devices, and customer activity on the casino floor. SDS is a real-time system that responds to information collected by a Game Monitoring Unit (GMU) within each slot machine.
The primary function of SDS is slot accounting and player tracking data collection. Slot accounting maintains the integrity of the floor and safeguards assets and revenues. It also provides an accurate and timely database of slot machine statistics for management review regarding machine performance and gaming trends. SDS provides real time data, accurate automated meter and jackpot/fill functions, and methods for hard/soft count reconciliation. In addition to the security benefits of real-time monitoring, the system provides immediate notification of needed machine maintenance, hopper fills, and jackpots.
SDS offers a variety of accounting reports including Hand Paid Jackpots and Fills, Progressives, Scale, Soft Count, Adjustment, Final Day, and Meter reports. These reports provide necessary information for accurate and timely general ledger preparation and master game analysis. All functions that relate to changes in slot data are fully documented by audit trails showing the change and the individuals responsible.
Game security is of vital interest in any casino operation. Unauthorized machine entry or machine tampering is reported to surveillance for immediate investigation. All employee activity is tracked, allowing management to recall and review questionable activity and take the necessary actions to prevent recurrence.

Responsibilities:

Involved in all stages of testing the SDS application for different versions.
Responsible for testing Ecash(Electronic cash), Slot Accounting, Jackpot, Slips, Alerts, Soft Count, Voucher, Audit Trail modules and related reports for SDS application.
Performed the Interfaces testing: Power bank, Power Promotions with Player Tracking System, Ticket Issuance System, Kiosk Redemption Interface, Currency Counter upload.
Performed Sanity, System, Integration, Regression, Load and Performance Testing.
Responsible for interacting with Product management team to get the business requirements.
Worked with US Sales team to get the new requirements, customized features.
Deployment and installation of QA builds configuration of servers, generation of test data, interfaces and BIG system.
Extensively worked for Functional, System and Regression Testing.
Designed & Developed Test data using SFS (Simulator),EGM(simulator) and Slot machine
Execution of Manual Test scripts and responsible to track and log the defects using Star Team and Bugzilla.
Automated Sanity and Regression Test bed using QTP.
Involved in Test case, Functional requirement specifications reviews.
Used Star Team as repository for requirement analysis, design test cases, Execute test cases, Bug tracking and reporting.
Involved in QTP Analysis tool for automating the system.
Responsible to perform the data generation from the Database by running the SQL,DB2,MySql,PL/Sql Queries.
Studied application performance and maximum scalability, critical parameter such as number of users, response times, transactions per seconds (HPS) and Throughput using simulator.
Interacted with the developers to sort out the issues and defects.
Preparation of Test Summary Report (TSR) at the end of each release builds.
Discussion with Product management Team for upcoming Functional Requirement Documents (FRD).
