· Description about the project: In its road map Infosys provides version upgrades to its flagship product Finacle to meet the technology upgrades and to meet new business requirements of its customers. Infosys also provides enhancements as required by the customers as part of the new version release. Fixes for the issues if any, also provided in the new version. This project helps the bank to move to Finacle 7.0.9 version with Oracle 9i. As part of the project, customization done in the previous versions is re-configured in the higher version and new modules as per the banks requirement introduced.

Duration- (February 2004-Dec 2004)

· Responsibilities: End-to-end Project Management, including RFP preparation, customization of product based on the customer's requirement, meeting delivery deadlines on development, testing, implementation phases of the system and customer relationship consulting.

· Description about the project: Narada credit card host system aimed at giving entire credit card system to the customer. Credit card system covers modules such as customer fulfillment (customer data capture, customer scoring and customer screening and verification), Card issuance, merchant management, Agent management and authorization, merchant settlement and payment. Interchange settlement, customers billing and statement, collection management, Franchise and insurance management and MIS and query report generation. · Description about the project: The wireless communication market is growing rapidly, reaching new customers and Introducing new services. Mobile banking is a subset of online banking, a service that is being currently offered by several banks. The motivator for mobile banking from the bank's perspective is to have an additional distribution channel and to further cut costs as every transaction on the internet, fixed or mobile, is saving money especially in the traditional retail operations. Users can set alerts for overdraft facility. These alerts are sent to the users through SMS message. Bank's database is interfaced using XML for accessing the customer's account and conducting banking Transactions. Bank database responds to the query and sends data to Gateway which in-turn relays it to the mobile device. M-Banking is compatible with all kinds of databases and does not require any additional investment either for the bank or for mobile service provider. The interfaces are generic and simple for ease of use and integration. Mobile Banking can be divided into two broad categories:
1. Request Facility
2. Alert Facility
Request Facility: Mobile Banking Requests enable the customer to query for account
information or perform bank transactions. Customer can query for his account balance, request for
the last 3 transactions, order for new cheque book, inquire for a cheque status, change of primary
account and make payment for his bills under this facility.
Alert Facility: Under Mobile Banking Alerts, customer gets alerted when the events he/she
subscribed for get triggered. Customer can subscribe for receiving SMS alerts when his/her salary
gets credited, an amount over a specified amount gets debited / credited, his/her balance falls
below / goes above a specified limit or when a cheque bounces.


14. Vehicle Tracking System: Informer, Munikcat InfoTech Pvt. Ltd
Duration - (Jun 2001 -- Nov 2003)
· Responsibilities: Objective of the plan was to identify the market potential for the product informer, market entry strategy for Munikcat, communication plan, staffing plan and the road map for the next 2 years. Feasibility test with the cellular operators, defines hardware (device side) functionalities, software (location server) design, Requirement analysis, scheduling, design, testing of the developed prototype, Preparation & Maintenance of all project documents and implementation.

· Description about the project: The product “Informer” is targeted at vehicle/fleet tracking market and is alternative to conventional GPS system. By using the system the vehicle owner can track down the location of his vehicle. Munikcat uses handset based network assisted location identification technology viz. Cell Global Identity. The system would consist of two unit's viz., the Informer device and the Informer location server software. The device is embedded with the software required to identify its own location details. The device would send the location information to the location server, which would be connected to the SMSC through the internet when requested by the location server. Communication between the device and the location server is done through our web application (Control Center), which in turn is connected, to the SMSC via our middleware. The primary functionality of the location server includes communication with the device, decryption of message received from the device, identification of position (using the database of reference system and provision of front-end user interface). At the location server the message would be decoded and displayed when the client log on to our web site.
· Informer Device: Informer is a dual band (900/1800) GSM phase 2+ compliant (similar to a mobile phone) with SMS compatibility.
· Informer Location Server/Control Center: The primary functionality of this module includes communication with the device, decryption of message received from the device, identification of position (using the database of the reference system. In this case the reference system is the cell global identity) and provision of a front end user interface.
· Cellular Network / Middleware: Communication between the device and the location server is done through our web application (Control Center), which in turn is connected, to the SMSC via our middleware.


15. Health Space -- Hospital Management System Munikcat Infotech ., Pvt Ltd
Duration - (Dec 2000-May 2001)

· Responsibilities: Was involved in designing the architecture for Web-enabling modules for Health space. Also, provided functional support to the project and was involved in Requirement analysis, scheduling, design, testing of the developed prototype, Preparation & Maintenance of all project documents and implementation.
· Description about the project: A web based product being developed for Hospital Management System using J2EE technologies. It includes modules such as Doctor's Work Bench, Pharmacy, Lab, Front Office, and Ward Management etc. It deals with all hospital processes via support from an electronic patient file system, from the administration of patients through to electronic requests for tests and provision of results, to scheduling and statistical functions.

· Description about the project: e-Lab is a healthcare product to improve patient care by providing a system capable of recording medical information and medical inventories. It consists of 6 modules. User Control module helps in providing access to the users. Patient Details module helps in adding, viewing and modifying details of the patients. It also facilitates payment of bill. Patient details module provides another option called the Requisition, which helps the user to refer the patient to an external lab for the test that is not available in the user's lab. Investigation module helps in entering and viewing the values of different tests like hematology, urine, bio chemistry, stool, etc. for a particular patient. Normal Values module helps in adding and modifying normal values for each and every test and their rates. The Reports module is used to generate reports for MIS purposes. The report gives details about the selected test. Reports module can also provide details about the payment/settlement of bills for the tests. Inventory module helps in maintaining the details of the Items, Suppliers, Receipts, Items Issued, order form and item rejected items (due to breakage and expiry date).
